The scale lies. Muscle weighs more than fat, and water retention swings your weight daily. Use measurements and how your clothes fit to actually track progress.
Throw away the dang scale it lies. Okay, maybe you don't want to completely throw it away, but don't use this as your main source of measuring results. What's a better way to measure results? Measurements how your clothes fit and how you feel. Why? Well, a few reasons. One muscle is more dense than fat, so even though 5 pounds of muscle and 5 pounds of fat both weigh 5 pounds, one takes up a lot more space than the other. So it's misleading to use just the scale to measure results. Also, skill numbers fluctuate daily between bloat and water retention. Gosh, you can look at the wrong food and seem to gain some movement on the scale. When we were rely just on the scale for results, we set ourselves up for disappointment every day. It's not a true measurement. When you look at measurements and when you look at how your clothes fit, it's a much better way to track results.
