All right, so here's the deal. Many of you are starting your breakfast with a super high starchy meal, like muffins, oatmeal, bagels, and then you're adding some juice on top of it. And you're wondering why you're so hungry later, when you thought you were eating healthy. Here's what I want you to do. I want you to switch it up. Make sure you're having a protein, a fat and a carb. But here's the key on the carbs. You want your carbs to be a healthy, special carb, like vegetables or fruits. What I love to do is load up with berries. They're super low glycemic and they've got some fiber in them, antioxidants. So you have your protein. I'm having a turkey sausage here and then I'm going to have some fat, some healthy fat. I'm having pecans today and then lots of berries. And I'll stay full for hours. Try it. Combine it. Protein, carb, fat. But make sure your carbs are coming from fruits or vegetables today.
