This is a YouTube video titled "Menopausal Hair Mask" containing a monologue or personal talk recorded on April 5, 2023, discussing hair texture changes during menopause and recommending a specific hair mask product designed for menopausal women. The speaker shares personal hair care tips and product usage but does not engage in a conversation with others.
All right, so let's talk menopausal hair for a minute because it's a whole thing in itself. Now, first of all, truth be told, I have a row of extensions in, not for length, but for fullness. So want to be transparent about that. So I'm not talking about hair fullness right now or hair length, because I have. I'm. I'm kind of cheating. Okay, I got, I got a row of extensions in. But I do want to talk about something that changes in midlife, and that's the texture of our hair. Like the shine, the texture. Obviously we know the color changes. Now, I don't know about you, but I color my hair every four weeks. I do my roots. Otherwise I've got like a skunk. I'll have a full on skunk situation going on if I don't color. But the reason my hair is soft and shiny like it is and it doesn't get that dull is because of some of the products I use. And one of the specific products I use is my friend Dr. Anna Kabeca's hair mask. She makes a very specific mask for menopausal women for our hair. Like, because you have all the hormone changes in your hair, it addresses that. And what I swear about her mask, because I've tried all the conditioners out there. I literally have all tried them all. I buy them every time I go to the hair salon. I tried all the conditioners. What I like about hers is it makes your hair pettable. Is that a word anna left? Anna. Dr. Anna laughed at me when I told her that. But it makes your hair super soft and shiny. And I use it as a regular conditioner in the shower. But I also. So what I do, I wash my hair, I use it as a regular conditioner. I leave it in for a couple minutes, I wash it out, but then I put a little bit in my hands, I rub it together, and then I put it through my hair and I leave it in before I blow it dry and style it. So letting you know about it, because there's a lot of conditioners on the market, but I swear hers will make your hair pettable and shiny. And it's made for menopausal women like us.
