Quick lower back pain relief sequence

Two instructors walk through a short routine to ease lower back pain, using cat cows, glute activation, and dead bug exercises. The sequence targets core strength and mobility in just a few minutes.
Hey, guys. Okay, this is just a quick little circuit that I do morning and night. It takes less than five minutes, and it gets your core activated. It feels great on your lower back, especially if you're sitting a lot all day. It helps with your hip flexors. It just helps realign everything. It's something I do pretty much every morning and night in less than five minutes.
Okay, so I start with cat cows, which is super simple, but I use my entire back for this. My lumbar spine, my thoracic spine, and then I move it into these little rocks, and I'm. It looks like I'm using my upper body, but I'm actually using my glutes for that. So same thing when I put my foot out. Using your glutes to pull yourself back and keep your back completely straight while you're doing it. It feels really, really good. And then I lay flat on my back, push my lower back into the ground and raising one leg at a time up and down, and then alternating to the other side, keeping that lower back pressed into the ground as I'm doing that the whole time. Time. And the final thing I do is a dead bug position lower back into the ground, and then alternating opposite hand to opposite knee and.
