Muscle weighs more than fat by volume, so the scale doesn't tell you what's actually changing in your body. Focus on measurements and how your clothes fit instead.
All right, let's sit up. Let's talk muscle versus fat. Because muscle and fat, although they both might weigh the same on a scale. Let me explain what I mean. Five pounds of muscle, five pounds of fat on the scale, both will weigh five pounds. If you put them both on a scale, however, one of them muscle takes up a lot less space than fat. Look at the difference there. So even though they both weigh five pounds on the scale, one takes up a lot less space than the other. It's a big difference here. So we when you're looking at losing weight, when you're losing that weight, are you losing muscle or fat? Because it makes a big difference. That's why the scale, that Dane scale can lie sometimes. So throw away the scale. Focus on the measurements, the way that your clothes are fitting and images because that's how you're going to really tell how things are changing because they both take up very different amounts of space.
