Use it or lose it. If you spend a lot of time with a cast on your arm and do not move it when the cast is removed, your arm is thinner than the other. That is called atrophy. The same thing happens to your genitals during per menopause and menopause on the outside your vulva and also in the inside your vagina. Today I will give you three tips to avoid vaginal atrophy that can cause pain during sex, itching and darkening of your vulva. Number one, Stimulate the tissue to increase vascularization and sensitivity. Apply some water based gel that has the same ph according to the area with hyaluronic acid. And very important without perfume like this one from sensol. Rub it gently inside and outside with your finger. Or if you use a device such as body yoga, which vibrates much better. Tip number two, practice kegel exercises four times a week, 15 minutes a day. If you do them with Bhaji yoga, much better because they are more effective making a stronger the pelvic floor muscles. Third tip. If you have a partner, have sex. The rubbing of the tissue with a good gel maintains circulation and oxygenation.
