How a UPS Driver Became a Full Time Real Estate Investor with CJ Calio

CJ Calio went from delivering packages at UPS to full-time real estate investing. He talks about building a 10-year vision of your ideal life and how small daily habits compound into real wealth over time.
Who can tell you what the future has in store. So go and create what that is for you at 10 years. 10 years is far enough out in my eyes where, okay, I got time to build it and it still can become real as you walk it back. So the visualizations for me is walking back from the 10 year ideal. What have I created in 10 years in all aspects of life? And what do I get to be at 5, at 3, at 1, monthly, daily, hourly. And it really brings it back into perspective that these are all achievable by doing these little things day over day, week over week, one more time and you, you, you can go and create like that financial freedom. Our original vision was 20 years. We did it in five because I walked it back and created an action plan and it was just in these daily habits. That's why I love what you have, the healthy podcast around, habits for success. That's really where everything matters. It's in the detail, in the little things. The big.
Yeah, no, it's, it's interesting and I appreciate that answer. That's, that's helpful for me and I took some notes there, so definitely, you know, helpful. And I, I love the idea of creating that, that ten year ideal lifestyle. Yeah. And, you know, one of the reasons that I've done this podcast and one of the reasons that I've sort of created this healthy investor movement, if you will, is really around that. You know, I learned through reading and through doing on my own that it really is the small habits. You know, I read a book a few years back called the Slight Edge. And the, the concept of the slight edge is repetitive motion every single day. Do a little bit, do a little bit. And then over the course of time, that little bit, that slight edge, you know, reading a little bit every day or exercising every day and consistently building upon those habits. When you look back after a few years, the growth is immense. And I see that in my personal life, I see that in my business, I see that in my family. So with your 10 year ideal lifestyle, I love the idea of creating that.
