Paul Fifield Of Ceros - Does "Predictable Revenue" Work?

Paul Serros at Ceros applied the Predictable Revenue framework and engaged 70 new brands in four weeks, including Chrysler, Gucci, and Sears. The system let junior reps, some just 22, close deals with senior executives without founder involvement. Serros calls sales 80% science, 20% art.
Hey, it's Paul Serros. We're here in New York, it's freezing. We're just wrapping up an on site and I just wanted to see if you had some thoughts for us for people who are interested in putting the framework together.
Yeah, well, look, I couldn't really be any sort of bigger fan. I think when I read the book philosophically, so much of it chimed with me personally, but just from a kind of common sense approach to solving the problem, creating a predictable revenue framework. It's just fantastic. And you know, I've gone through sort of anxious moments. I've kind of, I bet the farm effectively on this process, kind of working.
And working with us too.
Yeah, and working with you, but I never really doubted and it's great to read the theory but when you actually start seeing the results come through, it's incredible. And you know, we've been diligently putting this process in place and we're about four weeks and we are talking with about 70 brands that we weren't talking with four weeks ago like Chrysler, Chrysler, Sears, a whole Steve Madden, a whole ton of brands. Cartier, Cartier, Gucci. It's just incredible and it's working. And in terms of the brand of our company, it's the right approach as well. We're not annoying people. We're out there finding if there's a fit between our two companies and seeing if we can create fantastic.
How do you describe to your, I guess, peace of mind a few months ago compared to now?
I guess my peace of mind is I can see that this is working and I can see how we can scale this as well. And we've been working very hard on how we package up what we're doing so that we can onboard new perspectives. And I've realized that actually sales is probably 80% science and 20% art. And I think a lot of companies approach it in the reverse and I think that's a kind of huge mistake and it's going to make your life really stressful. I think what I'm seeing here and already seeing it with deals going through our pipe is that I'm not involved now. We had a pitch on Monday with a very, very senior person at Chrysler. That was one of my prospectus who's been in the company for eight weeks is confident enough now to have a. She's 22 years old, she's 22 years old. To have a conversation with someone very, very senior up in Chrysler and it was credible and moving through the pipe and hopefully they'll become a customer in Q1, and that's happening without me personally being involved. So I've removed the kind of founders from that process, and it's working, and that's how we're going to scale.
Hey, really a pleasure working with you guys. You'll be even more of a success story here in the future.
Fingers crossed.
And I'll probably see you in February when I'm back in New York, hopefully.
Please do. And I couldn't recommend it more strongly. And if you need to speak to me, please reach out.
All right. Thanks, Paul.
Thanks.
