Update from Cabo, April 09

Aaron Ross and friends share how they structure days in Cabo mixing client calls and sales meetings with leisure. Limited internet forces focus, and they use sketching and journaling to stay grounded while constantly tweaking routines to find their ideal day.

Hey, from Cabo. I'm actually here with a few other people, a few friends. Turns out that a friend actually had a place to come down here. It was open for a week and so why not take a look? This is just the bay and I was just getting back this morning. I actually had a really good day. I spent the morning on client calls, a couple clients, some sales board meetings and such and I spent the rest of the afternoon at a cafe and really I just started writing and sketching.
In fact you can see this is sort of my trend. Traveling, sort of all I need when I travel. I've got my journal.
No thanks.
Get a lot of questions here. Here's my sketchbook.
Alright, so I was doing, I don't
know if you can see this, but some different sketches, not really sort of bright out and I got my computer, some colored pencils and I can pretty much keep myself occupied for hours with this stuff. It doesn't take much to entertain me, which is nice. I'm going to put you down for a minute.
Sorry about that. And now I'm just heading back to the hotel, gonna maybe laugh at the beach, just read. I pretty much am going to just leave the computer off the rest of the evening. And one reason I like going to places without much Internet access is it forces you to. I like it when it's hard to check email.
So if it's too easy then you
tend to be on it a lot. So that's the plan. So I'll be off for the next 24 hours and I've got a little bit more tomorrow, plus a couple storm office hours. So I'm looking forward to talking with some of you, some of the people in the program. And it's one thing that's interesting is today I'm always playing with new things. Even today I'm thinking, alright, instead of getting up and doing some of my health things in the morning, such as meditation or yoga, maybe I'll do my work with others in the morning, some more client calls in the afternoon, do my own stuff, another sort of exercise, just work out and then do some more work in the early evenings. Hello, I'm going this way. I don't know, just sort of playing
with my day a little bit.
I'm always sort of tweaking my day,
just sort of getting sort of the.
I don't know, trying to get my ideal day.
Anyway, that's a long update from Cabo back on Friday in la and I'll catch you then, bye.
