This is a YouTube video titled "Cómo Mezclar percusiones en DJ SET (con NiZ)" containing a tutorial or demonstration by Jonathan Morrison on mixing percussion in DJ sets, focusing on using filters creatively to mask and reveal percussion elements in music. The content is instructional and related to music production techniques, recorded in 2024.
In this case, we're going to take a song with vocals and melody and a song with a lot of percussion. And what I want you to see is how we're going to mask those percussions and they're going to appear and come out creatively. But in this case, we're going to use the filter to mask the song that comes in. And pay attention, because the stop is coming. Let's play with the filter at the stop. What are we going to do? A filter here and another one there. I'm going to raise the high percussions little by little, but they're masked by the filter. And pay attention. Look, look. Look how they come in. The percussions have appeared creatively without competing. We're going to remove a little bit from these.
