Hi job seekers. I bet today you would like to.
Talk about if your job is going to exist tomorrow and will your skills.
Be transferable into the jobs of tomorrow?
I understand it's a big concern for.
All of you and there are some.
Significant steps that you could take in.
Order to figure this out for yourself.
So today let's talk about what you.
Can do to gain clarity and figure.
Out if you will have a job in the future.
The first thing is figure out if your skills are transferable into the jobs.
That are in demand.
How can you do that, you ask?
Well, my suggestion is immerse yourself completely in that job. Of interest Once again, figure out how to how your skills that you're using today in your job will transfer into a future job and set that future.
Job as a goal for yourself.
And then completely immerse yourself in this job for two weeks. What do I mean by immerse?
Immerse is just live the job every day. Do all the possible research about what.
Your day to day activities would be in that new job.
Read all the books, read all the articles. It's a great idea to follow some.
Leaders who are in this job or they're thought leaders in that particular industry.
Talk to people who are doing the role right now.
LinkedIn is usually a really great place.
To meet those professionals and start meaningful conversations with them.
Most of all, figure out what which companies are hiring for their job and.
Then finally go back and review those.
Companies on Glassdoor, which is wonderful tools for people to use if you want.
To see what past employees are saying.
About the company and what the company culture is.
So once again, figure out what skills.
You have and which skills can be transferred.
