I was stuck, unable to communicate clearly what kind of job I wanted

Someone stuck on what job to pursue learned to box their passion into a clear target, built a visible daily Plan A/B for accountability, and used the three chapters technique to tell their story concisely on a resume and LinkedIn.
Foreign.
Things in the program, specifically in the course that you immediately started implementing in your job search.
I think just the overall, you know, plan is a plan B or plan A. Plan A, Plan A. It's like, I have it on my first experience. I don't think that's right. No. But I think that in itself was something I put on my desk, and I looked at it every single day. So just having structure and having a plan and having something that I could easily tap into, that gave me more confidence that, okay, I'm hopeful, but now I know there is something actionable that I can hold myself accountable for in order to make this happen.
How did it feel when we finally came up with, like, put a box around your passion and your purpose and we established an objective for your job search? How did that feel?
Amazing, I will say. I think, you know, I was so stuck in here's what I don't want, and I love all of these things, but I don't know how to, you know, succinctly say, this is where I should be focusing and going. So once we landed on Here It Is, I think it was that breakthrough moment of, again, all right, now there's another piece of the puzzle that I can keep working towards. So it was just further reinforcement of, this is something very real that you can obtain.
What did three chapters do for you?
I think it made me more concise instead of fluffy storytelling, which is, you know, normally the world I live in. Let me be direct and to the point. Here's what I've done. Here's, you know, here's where I started, here's what I've done, and here's where I want to go in a way that was so impactful that, you know, I didn't lose the attention of the audience that I was trying to reach.
How was it working with the resume writer and with him on your LinkedIn profile?
That was probably one of the most seamless pieces of it as well. I think he. He had my resume. He kind of, again, cut through all the noise and very succinctly got to, here's what you need to say. Here's why it's important. Here's how you can almost validate that and make sure that you are, you know, leveraging your resume and leveraging, more importantly, LinkedIn in a way that will get you the opportunities that you're looking for.
