Interview Prep for your dream job College Grad

A coach walks through how to answer interview questions about working with upper management and business development. Focus on relationship-building and showing you want to learn, not just execute tasks.
I gave November 2nd prep for NYC FC. So specifically you will be reporting to a manager over there. They say it in the job description. So we need to know how to answer the question, how do you interact with upper management? Okay, so if you're asked this question, you say, listen, I'm all about building relationships. I love feedback. I never look at it as criticism, like literally say it word to word. I love feedback. I never take it at as criticism. And I always ask about the right expectations because I don't like to disappoint. And I have a learning mindset. You know, a lot of people think that they know everything. You are the person that constantly goes because they want to learn more. Okay, so that's how to answer the question, how do you interact with upper management? Now this role is going to be a little bit different. It's a lot more evolved than the other role and the Red Bulls because what it seems like they're going to have you doing is go and do business development to companies, okay? So they may ask you, you know, have you ever sold or have you ever done a presentation in front of a business? So this is what you're going to say. You're going to say that I love to build relationships. I believe that everything is based on relationships and relationships start with building rapport. If people like you, they're going to buy from you.
