The chance you can get with your connections on LinkedIn

Celebrating with a client nine days ago, I had a very authentic conversation with her about her activating her network. She was shying away from reaching out to people that she was connected to on LinkedIn and she was uncertain as to what the message will be that she will use because she had a history of reaching out to people and them not getting back to her. Fast forward nine days. I just got off the phone with her. I equipped her with very on target messaging as to what to say to her connections. Fast forward nine days. Two of her connections introduced her to recruiters. One of her connections actually was a recruiter. She has an interview lined up for next week and guess what? This is the best part. This job will be international, she will travel and she will have an opportunity to visit Paris. I'm so excited for her that she is now envisioning a future where she will leave her dead end job where she will bid her ungrateful boss goodbye and she will be living her dream. She's not going to be building it, she's going to be living it.
