Whatever is going to move the needle. That 1%, that's what we want to focus on, not about moving the needle. 50% every single day. It's about 1% every single day. And watching those results compound, if you're doing this, imagine all the people that aren't doing this and so you're just going to throw leaps and bounds above them. Welcome to the yes and Podcast. I'm Bunny Young, your host, head of inspiration, retired stuntwoman and serial entrepreneur. I am thrill for you to be here and that probably means that you're ready to upgrade and change the current model for doing life. This podcast is all about the business of having more while doing less. And that's why today I'm bringing you something really popular and yet I'm putting my own little spin on it. So we are going to talk today about what this 75 hard challenge is with the business edition and I'm going to pull up my notes and I'm going to share with you exactly what I've been working on with some clients about how to take this model of the 75 hard. Add my background in therapy and psychology to it as well as being a third generation entrepreneur. So I cannot wait to share it with you and let's go ahead and get into it. Here we go. So I'm going to bring up my notes. I love that this has really taken off because the idea around it of building a community that are all sharing and posting, taking their selfies and seeing the progress. It's all about building a habit while being invested in a community. And so if you have not heard about this 75 hard challenge, I would highly recommend that you at least look it up and kind of the parameters of it for the regular 75 hard are similar to the 75 business one having. However, we're going to change it just a tiny bit. And so the real 75 hard I'm going to like bring it up right now. The real 75 hard rules, it's by Andy Frisella and the 75 hard rules are that you stick to a diet in with that. Like the subset of that is any diet. No alcohol. Cheat meals are allowed. Two 45 minute workouts per per day. One of them has to be outside, drink a gallon of water or four and a half liters of water each day and then take a progress photo. And I think that this is so simple and it gets you psychologically invested. You're seeing the results in the photo. He's included to get outside and doing it twice in a day. I just think all of this is great and I love that it's specific enough and yet it gives you enough room to kind of be flexible and apply it to your life. So now we're going to go into the 75 hard business edition and if you go to bunnyyoung.com 75hard, I will make sure that we have that link. You'll find a link to be able to get your tracker as well as the quote unquote rules for the 75 hard business edition. The results that you see for doing activities that move the needle for 75 days straight are incredible. And if you're doing this for your health and you're doing this for your body, it makes sense to be on a diet and it makes sense to do two workouts. But what if we looked at doing this for your business? What if we applied that same philosophy and did it for creating more revenue, creating more results, creating more clients. So in my version, in the business version, in the bunny version of 75 hard, you're going to stick to a social media diet and that's less than 45min minutes a day. And if you're going to go on social media, try to consume growth, not social content. So you're going to try to consume things that are going to move the needle for you on topics that are meaningful for your personal and professional growth, not just trolling to see so and so's vacation photos or random kitty memes that are going to make you laugh. So less than 45 minutes a day on every social media platform combined, this doesn't mean 45 minutes a day per social media. And most of us, if we looked at our wellbeing on our apps, are using social media more than this per day. And so that's number one. So number two, two 45 minute business development sessions per day. So can be DMing, can be LinkedIn outreach, can be emailing, content creation, hosting a workshop meeting with a strategic part. It has to be two distinct time blocks. One 90 minute lunch isn't going to cut it. The energy with which you show up in that first 45 minute time block is going to be different than the energy that you show up in the second 45 minute time block. And so if the first 45 minute time block is an individual session, a one to one with a strategic partner, you want to schedule that when your energy is high and engaging. If you're just going to be doing DMS and just copying and pasting your template into DM messages, you can save that for later on in the day. And so I want you to work with your energy, but make sure it is two exclusive separate 45 minute business development sessions. And this alone is going to move the needle so much for you. You just set a goal and we're going to create some metrics around this. You're going to have your tracker@bunnyyoung.com 75 hard. But this is going to make such a difference in your business and in your life. It's just the aspect of showing up. If you're doing this, imagine all the people that aren't doing this. And so you're just going to grow leaps and bounds above them. All right? Third is choose one activity per day that's going to move the needle 1%. This is over and above your business development sessions. Choose one activity per day that will move the needle 1%. Claim that activity accomplishment and then celebrate the F out of you yourself for getting it done. Celebrate the F out of yourself for getting it done. Those are the three parts of it. Claim the activity. Here's what I'm going to do. Slay the activity. Accomplish it. Celebrate your activity and you for doing it. And what is it going to move the needle? 1%. Maybe it's coming up with a template so that you can DM people a little easier. Maybe it is creating a reel. Maybe it is outlining a workshop that you're going to do. Maybe it is getting a new label for your product or sharing it on Etsy, posting it on your Amazon store. Whatever is going to move the needle. That 1%, that's what we want to focus on. It's not about moving the needle 50% every single day. It's about 1% every single day. And watching those results compound, this is something that I read about in a book called Atomic Habits. So if you have not read that book, I'll put a link below this for that as well. It's an incredible book. I highly recommend it. And we're almost there. So the fourth thing is that you're going to read 10 pages of a book that will help you grow personally and professionally. And I would really prefer that. This is like a hard copy paper book. I know we do audible or audiobooks, a ton of. But if you can get yourself to a place where you are reading this book and you have this book, just seeing the progress that you're making in the physical book over the 75 days and if you read one book or two books or whatever, how many books it is, that's going to be a psychological dopamine hit for you and that's going to trigger your reward center and make it easier for you to keep going with this. And lastly, similar to the physical 75 heart challenge, you're going to take a screenshot or log your bank account each day. If you do the four things above this last one, you're going to notice growth in your bank account in a matter of maybe a couple days, but definitely in a week or so. You cannot put this action aligned action that's moving the needle 1% out into the world without receiving the value back. And if you're like oh Bunny, I've been doing it for a week and I'm not seeing it yet, reevaluate your activities the 1% in your business development activities because when you're putting yourself out there and you are open to delivering value to your clients, your clients see that and they're going to want to do value to you. In fact, just, just slowing down and just taking a moment to like really be in that mindset to say I'm open for more business, I'm open to help more people. That alone is highly attractive and magnetic out in the world. So I cannot wait to see what your results are from the 75 hard challenge. Remember, we're sticking to a social media diet of less than 45 minutes a day and try to consume growth, not social content. Two 45 minute business development sessions that can be dming meeting with a strategic partner, but it has to be two distinct time blocks. Choose one activity per day that will move the needle 1% claim it accomplishment accomplish it and then celebrate the F out of it 10 pages that of a book that will help you grow personally and professionally and then log. You can log in your metric sheet how you're feeling on a scale of 1 to 10 and how much revenue is in that bank account. So that's what I have for you for today. I'd love for you to go ahead and leave your comments below. And before we wrap, I wanted to give you a little sneak peek of an episode that is coming up and we are going to be doing an episode on a topic that is near and dear to my heart.
