Something that was not even on my radar. A desire only held in my heart and watching literally my entire community that supports me meet me in that energy with no spoken word, only a clear energy of I love being here. The only constant is change and progress and you get to choose whether you allow it to happen to you or for you. Kudos to him for holding the vision right, especially going toe to toe with me. I'm the mermaid that definitely belongs in Southern California with the turquoise and purple hair. Hello loves, and welcome back to another episode of the yes and Podcast. I am your host and serial entrepreneur, Bunny Young. If you are new here to the yes and Podcast or if you just need a friendly reminder, I am the crazy entrepreneur that has had 14 companies or been a part of 14 companies in the past 15 years. Every time I say that, it's still amazes me. And I want to share with you in this episode a little bit about how that happened, as well as I want to address one of the most trending podcast episodes that I actually just listened to. And I want to share with you about it because there's a huge topic and a rise in the topic of manifestation. And I have been a part, been blessed to be a part of this Mastermind with Natalie Ellis and and a bunch of other incredible individuals, some of which we have interviewed here on the yes and Podcast. And one of the people that is also in this mastermind, not in my cohort, but we mix the cohort sometimes and so spend some time with this lovely individual is Katherine, the manifestation babe. And so one of the things we do in the Mastermind is share resources. And so her episode, it's like number 282. I'm just gonna give the plug and the shout out here because A, she deserves it and B, it's worth listening to. And I think the title of the episod episode is like how I manifest everything that I want or the exact steps I take to manifest everything that I want. Something like that, you guys can find it. You are super capable. And I listened to this episode on my way home last night and, you know, it's a very short episode and of course I'm listening to it at two times because that's just the speed of things that I do. And I get out of the car and I've shared with you guys and especially if you're on my social media or on my email list, which there's your invitation to go to the show Notes and join both of those things because I'm here to add Value to you. And that's jumping in on another conversation other than our podcast episodes, whenever they drop, in order for me to deliver value to you. And so what I've been sharing is that last October. So October of 2021 was driving through Malibu with my husband, and I was out there for a work trip, and my husband says, do you wanna move home? And this is the first time in, like, 15 years that we've been together that my husband has ever said or referenced or made any kind of open invitation for us to move back to California. For those of you that don't know, I grew up literally on the other side of the hill from Malibu. I went to Westlake High School. And so Zuma beach is where I spent so much of my childhood surfing. And I have so many good memories there. And I fly back to California fairly often, A, because I love it, and B, because I have a ton of clients out there. And my husband's from Arizona, and he has never had a real nice thing to say about California, about living there. The people, the traffic, the whole thing. So I was floored when he said this, and I just kind of sat with it. And then 2022 comes and. Oh, I'm sorry. Actually, it was 2022 that he said that. 2023. And I have been out to California at least once every single month this year, whether for work or visiting friends or all of that. And he's come with me the majority of the time. And so he planted this little seed, and I'm gonna get back to Katherine's episode in a second. But he planted this little seed in my brain that this was now an opportunity. Right? And this is what Katherine was talking about in the episode of if you wanna manifest something. Like, I had a closed door in my mind that was basically like this human that I'm committed to spending the rest of my life with and I love doesn't even want to consider living in California. And so I didn't put any energy into changing his heart or changing his mind or anything like that. I love California and just kept that frequency and that vibration, and he met me in it, and so that impact. Fast forward to 2023. We ended up through. I'm gonna call it coincidence. You can call it manifestation. And I think it was both on our fertility journey, being in California, when I had to take some of the fertility medication and we had to basically, like, too much information, but make a baby. And so this baby that after four miscarriages between our children and a total of 10 miscarriages was conceived in Southern California, Malibu. And we started calling the baby Malibu. And it just. All of this energy is like pulling further and further into, yeah, this is gonna happen. We're gonna go to California. And so my parents grew a company in California and then sold it in Southern California right around Malibu. And I had it in my head they never wanted to go back as well. And they, in my defense, they have made no comments about moving back home. The only thing that shifted was me. And right now we bought the house next door to ours. My parents live there. It's amazing. It's, you know, in the country. The leaves change. It's beautiful. My dad has this huge workshop and garage, and it's kind of like everything that I imagine my parents would want. And my parents actually started about being. Started talking about thinking about moving back to California with us. And I understand that that's solely because if we move back to California, I'm taking the grandkids, and the grandkids are their everything. But I never thought it would be possible. So we flew out to California in October of this year. So just. I'm recording this the end of November. So just about a month ago, we spent an extended amount of time there and rented a house in Malibu just to see how they liked it, how everybody liked it. I'm the Southern Californian, born and raised there. Like, I'm the mermaid that definitely belongs in Southern California with the turquoise and purple hair. The surfing says dude and bro every other word. So I have no doubt that going back is for me, my parents and my husband, though, totally different. And so I wanted to make sure that everybody was going to be on board. So we get back from this trip and now everybody is on board. Now, like, we've looked at houses, we are discussing it. It's just. It's becoming the reality. Everybody's talking about it, and yet there's a part of me, once we get home that just sinks back into life on the east coast in this cadence. And also, you know, gonna have another kid. And so I don't want to move while I'm in the middle of being nine months pregnant. And so I just kind of surrendered to, okay, timing will be whatever it is. So fast forward, come back in my time lapse here to last night, and I'm listening to Catherine's episode. Park the truck, get out of the truck, come back in the house, go to sleep. Wake up this morning, my dad's on my property, came over to my house to see the girls off to school, and he says to me, well, I got a call from my boss yesterday, and I didn't get much sleep last night. And I'm thinking, I mean, what are those two things evoke in you when you hear that, right? And so I'm like, what? What is going on here? And my parents sold their company. My dad failed at retirement, and so he's back at work. And I have. Every cell in my body has an awareness of what that's like because I've sold my companies and gone back and started new companies. He didn't start another company, but he definitely wanted to continue to be of service. And so it's kind of funny and cute when he says his boss, because this is a choice that he's making. And he said, I have an opportunity to take over the entire west coast for our company and then transition into this even better position for the entire United States, Canada, et cetera, in leadership. And so we could live anywhere, he said, but he didn't listen to the yes. And podcast. He doesn't know that we say and not. But. So he goes, but we've got to move out there. And my full body, I'm going to be super honest right now with you. Of my first instinctual reaction was, oh, shit, it's real. Like, now I've got to figure out how to pay for it. Now I got to figure out, you know, this timeline. And just like, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Everything in my body is going off. And this is something that Katherine also addressed in the episode was, I think it's like step three. It's like limiting beliefs and all of that. And, man, I've been on this journey for so long that it was quick. It was quick. It was a somatic reaction. And then I'm like, what is this about? And it's wanting to make sure that my family's protected. It's wanting to feel safe, and it's wanting to feel appreciated. And so in my head, if we move back to California, I'm responsible for making sure that we can create exactly what it is that we created on the East Coast. Houses right next door to each other, trips, all of this kind of stuff. That's not true. And so once I leaned into it and was like, oh, my gosh, it's so cute that you think that you're responsible for all of this. Look at where life has met you. You wanted to move back to California. Your husband's changed his mind. Your dad now has manifested his own. And yes, my army military veteran dad will say manifested like he's now manifested this opportunity in this position. And what he says is just seems like everything is falling into place. And I have goosebumps even telling you that right now because, like, right after I surrendered to this, my mind and my wheels going and all of that kind of stuff, I just got giddy. I was smiling, I was jumping up and down, which nine months pregnant is not a great idea. And it's like, everything that I want in life, my first reaction was, everything that I want in life is happening. Oh, shit. And then when I breathe through that, it's like, everything that I want in life is happening. For me, like always, this. This is. You've got this incredible series of events that have happened and unfolded over the past 12 months. To say something that was not even on my radar, a desire only held in my heart and watching literally my entire community that supports me meet me in that energy with no spoken word, not even really a clear intention, only a clear energy of, I love being here and I love this space. I love living here. This feels like home. And wanting that energy of protection, of home, of safety. And especially after getting in my car accident and having a brain injury, there's so much that's familiar in Southern California. And so every time I go back, I don't feel like I struggle the way that I go. I struggle when I go to, like, a new city in trying to navigate and schedule and communicate and all of that. And so my dad shares this, and like I said, I just want to be real. My first reaction was not all rainbows and butterflies. And then my second reaction was just, of course, of course this is happening. And just pure and utter excitement and delight and all of that. And so then my dad is. I said, gino, we really don't have to go back to California. Like, we really. Here. Here's me trying to take back the dream, right? Like, here's me trying to make myself small. And my dad goes, no, I think this is what we're meant to do. Kudos to him for holding the vision right, especially going toe to toe with me. And so he's holding the vision and he's sharing that he. He thinks this is in full alignment. And so my husband, when I had talked to him about it in, I think it was like, September, October, we looked at positions for him to transfer out there because he's still doing military stuff, and he couldn't find anything. And then I looked and I found some stuff, and then he said they weren't available, and that was it. I just Let it go. So today I pull up the job board again and I send him some stuff, and he's like, your emails aren't coming through. And I'm totally. When he listens to this, if he listens to this, I'm totally exaggerating his grumpiness. But I asked him, I was like, why are you being not grumpy about this? And then he goes, oh, that's. That is the reserves. I'm not reserves. That's the Air Force. I'm not Air Force. And I'm like, why are you finding all of the negativity in this? Right? I'm just coming off this high of my dad, who's, like, opening doors left and right, and my husband's basically just meh. And he. He says, well, why do I need to be looking right now? What's changed? And I said, I don't know what's changed. I don't have the words to tell you what's changed. I'm just telling you we should probably apply right now and look at stuff. And that's the trust. Like, that is just the trust. And he goes, yeah, but if we get the position and then we're not ready, then it's going to look bad. And it's like, no, we are going to. This is. This is the two dualities here. This is like, me setting the intention. And then like a drunk ostrich. We got to get a visual for that. I don't know where that came from. Like a drunk ostrich. I'm just, like, tripping forward in progress in life and just trusting that I'm either going to land softly or I'm going to sober up and, like, get my feet back under me. And then there's my husband, who, it felt like is just digging his heels in like a mule and is like, no, no, no, I'm not going like, no. And he didn't say that, but it was just the energy of it. And I'm like, yeah, if you apply and you get the position, then we'll figure it out. Like. And again, I'm seeing this identity of my dad being, like, open and possibilities, and it's such a shift for him and such a softness from him to be able to say, like, yeah, we'll just figure it out. And it reminded me of, like, literally yesterday, I was panicked because our oldest had sprained her wrist and she needed to go see an orthopedist. We took her to the er and then she had to follow up with an orthopedist. And the only time that these pediatric doctors have are in the middle of the day, middle of school day. So picking her up and taking her to the doctor and all this kind of stuff. And I'm frazzled, trying to figure it out. My dad's like, I'll take care of it. Like, he's like, I'll figure it out. I will figure it out. You don't have to. And it's that energy. And to my husband's credit, he also said that he would take the day off, but that's him. He's like, I'll take the entire day off for a one, a one hour doctor's appointment. Doesn't even make sense. I'm like, all right. So we get to this conversation with my husband and he's like, your emails aren't going through and this isn't. And that isn't. And blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And I'm just. So I surrendered and smiled into these. This awareness of one being trusting that this is the process, this is what we're doing, and it's for a reason. And one being still questioning, needing the process to be proven first before they're taking the first step. And I had that visual of like my dad and I's energy just being like tripping and falling forward. And that's very entrepreneurial. That's very like risk tolerant. Because everything in life is working out for me. You know, we're not going to sell the houses, we're going to keep the houses. And at the end of the day, even if we didn't keep the houses, could we recreate exactly what we have? No. But it'll never be the same. Even if we had to come back or if we chose to come back, it won't be the same. We won't be the same people. We won't be the same energies with the same visions and desires and all of that. And so it's just trusting that the only constant is change and progress and you get to choose whether you allow it to happen to you or for you. And that was kind of. My communication with my husband is like, look, we are in collaboration with the universe right now. We are in collaboration with what the highest and best wants, with what God wants in our lives. And so even if it doesn't check all the boxes, even if it says every part of me is like, even if it says Air Force, even if it says reserves, even if it says, you know, you can only apply for this if you're two positions higher than what he is, I'm Trusting. I am absolutely trusting in knocking on all of the doors, because all the doors are already opening and they're just going to continue to open. And it was so crazy to me to have this episode recommended, listen to this episode, and then have the next 12 hours of my life just unfold. And one of the things that Katherine was sharing was, like, sometimes you don't consciously go through the steps. It is very unconscious. It's very non conscious. And non conscious is my word. Not. Not her word. It's very non conscious. And I feel like that's what happened. I feel like the clarity and all of the declarations, and that was almost from a cellular, energetic, spiritual level from me. And then my community kind of showed up around it. But all the time that I was spending in California, in Southern California specifically, in Malibu specifically, is like, that's what started to shift. Because it started to be normal to be there. It wasn't like a vacation. It was like living there. And the people that I was hanging out with live there. And so it's just a constant conversation. Even my producer that's listening to this episode and editing this episode, he can tell you how many conversations that we've had about me moving back to California. And so I'm confessing to you that there is still a part of me that it was very easy when I came back home to settle back into. Oh, no, like, that's not going to happen. That's just a pipe dream. And yet the universe is continuing to meet me in my true energy of, yeah, we're moving to the other side of the country and making this happen. And when you have a desire, remember that everything. And I know you've heard this before, but everything that you want, wants you. It's okay if it scares you. It's okay if you don't believe it right now, because that's part of the process and part of the journey. And at this point in my life, life has showed up so much for me that I'm just at a point where it's like, of course this is happening. Of course this is happening. I can tell you there's. I am a huge Disney nerd. Some of you listening are not surprised by that. And for anybody who is new, hi, I'm Bunny. I'm a huge Disney nerd. And we went to Disneyland in Southern Calif. This is how much of a Disney nerd I am. I have a Disneyland annual membership, the highest, like one that you can purchase. And I live on the East Coast. I do not have a Disney World membership, nor do I think I ever will. Never say never. And I don't anticipate it because I. I don't. I can't tell you the last time I've been to Disney World. It's probably been six years that I've been to Disney World. I've been to Disneyland within the past two weeks. That's like maybe three weeks, so. And I'm going again in three weeks, so there's that. So I. There's a exclusive private club at Disneyland. And last year we went and did this VIP tour. And it was just a series of events that happened that we ended up with a VIP tour. And the person who was doing the VIP tour from Disney said, hey, you know, you should apply for this club. Because I was saying, with a service animal and with a heart condition, there's no place really in Disneyland to just sit and relax. Like, that's kind of isolated from noise and has comfy chairs, etc. Unless you're, like, going to the nursing room or something, which is not appropriate unless you have a baby. You can't just go walk in there with your family to relax. And so he said, yeah, no, you should apply for this club. Well, I didn't know it at the time, but you can't. You can't apply. You have to be recommended by a member. And so, out of curiosity, we were sitting there watching the parade, and there's somebody behind us, a group of people behind us. And I just turned around and I said, hey, have you heard about this, you know, club thing? And they were like, yeah, yeah, you know, this person's a member. And so I started to ask a question about it and conversation about it, and this person invites me to come tour. And then through that, I ended up finding out that we have not one, but two clients that are actually members as well. And now we are being invited to apply to be on this wait list that's years long, that is for this exclusive club that, like, very little people know about and even fewer people get invited to do it. And it was not like I dreamed of it for years. I was not even aware that this was a thing. I have a vague memory that a client had told me about it. And when you talk about the smallest of the small worlds, no pun intended, because I know that's a Disney thing. Like, what an incredible accelerated journey when you're. I didn't have the awareness or the limiting beliefs of how exclusive it was. I had none of that. It was just like, oh, you should do this. Everything that I was told was, you should do this. You should do this. So I didn't have any beliefs about how ridiculously exclusive it is. And then I told one of my friends, or actually, I think one of my friends knew that I had gone and was like, oh, my gosh. I've been wanting to go for however many years, and to me, it's like, no, life is definitely. That's. That's. Of course this is supposed to happen. It's not a big deal, because this is just my life. Things happen like this. And that's what Katherine was saying as well on this episode. And those individuals that I've tended to surround myself with the past couple of years are like, yeah, of course. Of course miracles happen. Because I believe that miracles are constantly happening. And it's not to say, sit on your couch and just believe that a million dollars is going to plop down next to you on your couch. That has not been my. When you take action, though, the universe can show up in concert with you and just have the most amazing experiences. So I hope that this episode landed for you. This is your personal invitation to declare what it is that you want. Come on Instagram and tag me Hebonny Young and let me know what you want. Put it in my DMs, because being able to have that declaration, have somebody else hold the vision for you, just makes it so, so much more powerful. And I have all these things on my desktop right now that I'm about to print, literally as soon as I'm done recording this episode to create with intention, my 2024 vision board. And at this point, I have no doubt that everything will happen in the exact timing that it's supposed to. Because if you look at my phone vision board right now, that is the background for my phone, about 75% of it has already happened. The baby, the Disney thing, going to Mexico with a friend. It has a black cowboy hat. I'll share it on social media so you can see it, but it has a black. A woman in a black cowboy hat riding a very muscular horse. And I picked out the black cowboy hat this year. So there's only one or two things. Well, one is a very fit photo of Blake Lively. And after this baby, this is exactly what Bunny is going to be looking at or looking like. I'll probably be still looking at Blake Lively. So one of these days, we'll have Blake on the podcast and discuss what it's like to have kiddos and have a body like that. So this is my invitation for you to allow yourself to dream, allow yourself to hold the vision, hold the energy, hold the vibration, surround yourself with the people who believe that it's not only possible, but it's for your highest and best and just go and achieve it. And I'm so grateful. Even this podcast is a manifestation. Like, I'm so grateful that I get to meet you here in this space and share this value with you. I love speaking and I love making an impact and I love meeting you here. I love getting the reviews and your comments on social media. Please, please, please keep that up. It literally takes less than a second to leave a five star review. And if you are so inclined to go ahead and write a couple words, I read each and every one of those and it means so much to me. It allows me to continue to bring value to you because it's more like a conversation in this podcast, which is exactly what I intended. Yes, it's a podcast and it's a conversation. Yes, I am a podcast host and I'm a business coach and a life coach and have a mom, you know, I have a mom and a mom. And so this is a conversation between you and me about how you get to have everything you want in your life and enjoy it too and have a business that supports you in being able to strive and have that. So wherever you listen to the yes. And podcast, I cannot wait to read your review. I cannot wait to connect with you on social media, whether it's Instagram or Facebook or LinkedIn or in the YouTube videos. Just meet me there. Meet your dreams in that vibration. Keep it going. I think this is a great episode to start 2024 with. End 2023 with. Listen to it a couple times because this is the truth. This is your truth now that everything that you want wants you. That's it for today from the yes and podcast. I will see you in the next episode. Thank you for making the world a better place and have an amazing day.
