You couldn't call me a mom and I'd feel fulfilled, or an entrepreneur and I'd feel fulfilled, or a wife, or a daughter, or a friend, or a creative, or a spiritual— what, like, whatever. I'm all of it.
Hi, my name is Bunny Young, serial entrepreneur, retired stuntwoman, mother of 3 beautiful kids, and a builder of a life I don't need to escape from. Welcome back to the Yes And Podcast. This season, we're diving even deeper with incredible women who are breaking barriers, building empires, and designing lives and companies their way. And you know, I don't just love talking to people who do business. I love talking to people who do business differently. Because let's be real, entrepreneurship is not just about making money. It's about impact. It's about freedom, and it's about creating something that aligns with who you are and makes a massive impact. And that's why I am so excited to have Taylor on today's episode. Taylor's a business coach, ease expert, and creative strategist. Who has completely redefined success by integrating flow, alignment, and profitability into entrepreneurship. After leaving the fast-paced world of digital marketing, she has built a 7-figure business while working just 3 days a week. And she's a friend of mine, so you guys get a lot of the behind the scenes on that too. Taylor has basically mastered the art of making business look easy because it is when you build it that way. So today we're diving into how she helps entrepreneurs ditch the stress, attract clients with more ease, and actually build businesses that feel great. Taylor, it's so good to see you, babe. Welcome to the Yes and podcast.
This is gonna be so good.
I know, I know. And we get to go everywhere with this conversation. So first, I just wanna start at the beginning. Like, you completely planned all of this, right? This was your plan from day one?
Yeah, totally by design, every step of the way.
And everything went according to plan, right?
No, I literally fumbled, changed my mind a million times, went in 25 different directions. And if you would've told me 10 years ago I'd be here, I would've laughed in your face.
You know, you did something that not a lot of coaches and people that start their first business did, and you had a $10K launch. Yeah. Right outta the gate. Like I remember how casually you were sharing how your first year in business went. I'm sure some other people have mirrored back to you that that's not a normal experience. So why don't you share a little bit about your first year in business and how did that leave you feeling like? You couldn't miss, or business was easy. Tell us a little bit about it.
Well, I feel like I was set up for success in terms of the job I was coming from. It was digital marketing, it was live launching, it was primarily working with coaches and educators, and I was making a lot of people a lot of money behind the scenes before I had this revelation of I could actually do this myself. I was new to marketing, so I had that imposter syndrome of I can do it for other people, but could I make a full living out of this? I didn't even start in marketing. I was actually like, I'll teach manifestation cuz I'm not there to teach marketing yet. And so I did all the things I knew how to do and I was really all in from that first launch of we're running ads, we're doing a webinar, we're going all out, the whole thing. Because for me, the first launch, I have no expectations. I could have made nothing and been so happy because in my mind I've got so much time and so many more launches and the first one isn't gonna be the 20th one, but we have to do the first one to get to the 20th one. But I remember sitting on my couch one day and me and my husband were watching TV and it was just a very like divine message where I blurted out, I'm gonna make $10,000. Every ounce in my body was like, you're about to make a lot of money. And I just went with that and I did my thing and I had a lot of fun in the process. And I just remember not telling my family for a while and just being like, 'Oh my God, this is the most money I've ever had in my whole entire life, and I made it on my own.' And it just felt— it felt a little addictive. I was like, 'Let's go, baby!
This is for me.' So you go and you do the first $10K launch.
Yeah.
Did you learn this lesson that— I don't even know if it's a lesson— that every entrepreneur learns? And I'm holding up air quotes— that like more equals more.
Yeah. Yeah.
Tell us about that.
I mean, my philosophy on anything in business is that it should really ideally be a lot of fun for you. And when we start adding on more and overcomplication, you know, more comprehensive strategies and systems and all of the things, the fun gets lost. And that's why the density really bubbles to the surface and you're like, fuck this. It's not even fun. I'm doing more. I'm not necessarily earning more. And I feel like I've always just wanted to keep it simple because I came from hustling in high school, hustling in college, hustling in a 9 to 5. And I had a very fine line in the sand when I started my own business of the minute it's not enjoyable for me and I'm willingly adding more stress and pressure, I'm out because that's a choice and I'm gonna try really hard to not make that choice as much as possible.
How many times have you been close to being out with your business?
Mm. I would say zero up until I had my son.
Mm-hmm.
And then I had my son, I started in 2018. I had my son in 2021, 2022, and 2023 were years where I had probably every 4 or 5 months. Is this just really what I want? What do I want? What do I want my life to look like? What do I need? And is this meeting me there? What else is out there? It was just more of an exploration of this or something better, but I had never entertained that question until that really hard season, just because I felt like I didn't have the clarity, the creativity, as much energy and love to give to the business, cuz now all of that was directed at my child and my family. And I think every mother business owner goes through that initiation of Finding the harmony between the two. And I, you know, did everything right, air quotes, leading up to having my son, hired a team, we got systems, every detail was taken care of for me to go out and come back in. And I was just like, I don't know if I wanna come back in and I don't think the same version of me is coming back in. And that just triggered a lot of inner turmoil for quite a few years.
I am so appreciative to you sharing this because I know that it's not a conversation that a lot of specifically women entrepreneurs who have kids or have these massive life changes talk about.
Yeah.
And I know for me personally, the amount of times that I've been like, I'm out, I don't wanna do this. I've talked about in my own journey the two times that I ended up selling companies and could have quote unquote retired. Yeah. And then just felt, well, is this it? And is this what I wanna do and what's next? And so what changed from your first $10K launch on how you felt about your relationship with the business to having your son and now going to 3 days a week?
I feel like I have really high standards for how I want things to look. And my mom has always called me a heat-guided missile. She's like, when you have something in your mind, it's just done and over, even if it makes no sense. And so. When I came back from maternity leave after having my son, that's when the 3-day work week really came into play. Number one, I feel like the weekends are short as is, and I just hate the construct of having to rush in on a Monday. Monday feels very Sunday to me. I wanted that to be optional. But most importantly, just figuring out harmony in the home. Also thinking about how much is really needed from you. Sometimes we just work more to fill space. To feel productive, to feel busy. And I just got really radically honest with myself about what do I contribute to the business that contributes to the business vitality and my own fulfillment? What are the extras? And all of the extras we started to strip away, and that opened the door for us to take the things that we were doing and make them even better, even leaner, even simpler. And it had the most insane ripple effect. But I also feel like we're desensitized, like you said, we're desensitized to the $10K or desensitized to just the level of work it takes to run a business and the pressure it can feel if you are the breadwinner of your family. And we just overlook all of that. And that happens when we're designing programs too. There's just desensitization to, well, it's Voxer Monday through Friday and it's 3 calls a week cuz that's how I've seen it and that's how I've mimicked it. And I started to just ask myself, well, What if my clients only heard from me Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday?
Mm-hmm.
Their business gonna fall apart? 'Cause that feels really good to me. And that ended up being really well received. And then it was like, well, what if I build in that I take a week off every quarter into my contract? So that's built in, we're building in the spaciousness, we're modeling our core values. Yeah. And then all of a sudden my clients were like, I'm putting that into my contracts too. And it just had this ripple effect of blank canvas, but I'm gonna really do it my way.
Yes. I love that. Okay. So let's talk about your way because you shared Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.
Yeah.
And I know you've got this Five Figure Flow.
Yeah.
You know what? And I'm hinting at this because I know Taylor, guys, but like I also have to just call something out. This is the importance of not building a business alone. This is the importance of having coaching and being in a mastermind and having a community. Is because a couple weeks ago Taylor had shared her retention rate, her renewal rate with her clients, and there were probably 30 or 40 of us that are in 7-figure businesses that were like, that's effing insane. What is your current retention rate year over year with clients?
Our retention rate ranges really from 70 to 90% on average.
That's effing insane.
But that was one of the doors that opened up for me when I decided to do less and go deeper with what I had.
Okay.
A byproduct result was people felt really seen, really supported. They were getting epic results. They were just immersed in the brand. They wanted to stay longer. And now I have clients that have been with me for 3, 4, 5 years.
And how many Instagram followers do you have? Cuz this is the other thing that I love about you.
Oh my God. Well, funny story there. I don't think you actually know this. I have about 4,000, 5,000 followers on Instagram because in the depths of postpartum depression and having my son, I had just reached 10K back when you needed the swipe up feature, and I'm like, I unlocked the swipe up and my Instagram got hacked and deleted. So this is my second Instagram.
And you built it to 4,000 followers, which I do want you to go into your Five Figure Flow and break that down. Cause I, the way that you think about business is so beautiful and I want you to share that with our listeners.
Yeah.
But like, one of the things that I love about you is that you're constantly stripping away what doesn't work. And so you didn't need 10,000 followers in order to create this multimillion dollar business, grow, and all of that kind of stuff. I absolutely love that because so many women that are in our industry, that is a metric.
Yeah.
They're focused on 100,000 followers. And I think again, goes back to what you said of the desensitization where it's like there's a lot of noise, but there's not a lot of value. Mm-hmm. And you do it differently. So in my programs, what I talk about is business is simple. It's attraction, nurture, conversion. Mm-hmm. I know you have your methods, but you're able with the 4,000 followers and your other methods to attract, nurture, and convert over and over again. Not necessarily new people all of the time. And you don't need new people.
Yeah.
Which is beautiful. That was a lot of questions in there, but I'm just gonna let you take it away.
Oh, it's so good. I mean, this is where business model has to be at the heart of the conversation, and this was my big epiphany is the model and the infrastructure and the way that you're going is really gonna dictate if you're building yourself a freedom trap or if you're building yourself true freedom and something that feels really good. A lot of people are building business models that are focused solely on acquisition. If you look at people who have $47 offers, $97 offers. If you really think about the volume needed for that business model to succeed at that price point, it's an acquisition game and that's just the game that you're signing up for. And that's just never really been the game that I wanted to sign up for because more volume to me feels like more stress. And I'm not saying that doesn't work cuz there's tons of business models that work that way, but I wanted a business that was more focused on retention. I would rather focus on keeping people longer and going deeper with them for various reasons. I am also a Cancer sun and I'm just like all about depth and relationships and longevity and nurturing and going deeper. And so this model allowed me to do that. And my primary business model right now is really my mastermind. That is my bread and butter. That is the heart and soul of my business. We have it mapped out on a 4-year track, so ideally like You're intended to come in, but we have 4 years of growth prepared for you behind the scenes that we're not presenting in that initial first year signup. And I think a lot of people, again, we're just desensitized the way we've been taught. We've never really questioned it. So we think about business model and offer suite as like low ticket, mid ticket, high ticket, and move, move, move, and new people and always flushing them in. But do we ever think about the continuity of once someone is in, what happens from there? Because for me, that's like. Just the beginning.
Yeah. So I just want to go back to one of the very first things that you just said in that is it works. And what I heard you say that you didn't say is it just doesn't work for me.
Yeah, totally.
That's what I love about entrepreneurship is there's a million ways to success.
Yeah.
And this is also what drives me freaking insane about coaches who are selling a process. Yeah. You miss out on the beauty of entrepreneurship, which is building your art, building your business model. And you know, you said that you have clients that come in and that tweak their own business model inspired by you, which is incredible. Like you're giving them an ecosystem to say, build what's possible. This is why I named my business accelerator Defy is because I was like, build your thing.
Yeah.
If 40 DMs a day is not your vibe, then like don't do it.
Well, and like there's this mindset I see with a lot of women too that's like, I hate it and it's not working, you know, wham, wham to a certain degree. And it's like, you don't do it.
Yeah.
Like don't do it. Do something else. I feel like so many women contort themselves and it's painful and it's uncomfortable and you're contorting yourself to fit into this mainstream thing. And there's just a whole world once you poke outside the box that's available to you.
So you are obviously slay it at marketing. Also, I'm super distracted by your Valentine's Day nails. Can we just have a moment for that?
Oh, they're so good. I love them.
Oh my gosh. Your nail game is so strong. It's so strong. Well, you know what?
Gruff, because I've been going to the same nail girl, my girl Judy, for 5 years. Okay. Same concept.
Okay. Let's just have a break for a non-nail ad, but this is very much about entrepreneurship and going back to what works. Is I'm a French manicure girl.
Like classic.
All the time. All the time. And every couple months I'll go back. And this last time my daughter was like, get peppermint nails. I got the red nails and then I got white nails so that they were like peppermint nails.
Yeah.
I left the nail studio regretting my choices. And my husband's so cute because he picks me up and be like, let me see your nails. He doesn't really care, but I love him for asking. And I showed him and he goes, you just— you made a grumps face. Which, my grandmother, Grumps, if you asked her how something was at a restaurant, she'd go, mm. I unconsciously showed him my nails and made this grumps face. Like, I furled up my nose and was just like, mm. And he goes, you don't like them? And I'm like, no. And he goes, well, why did you get them? It's such a bad question. That's a good question. Why are they always right? Don't tell my husband I just said he's always right. And so I had him for a week because I just felt obligated. This is such a good entrepreneurship moment.
It really is.
I just felt so obligated. A, because my daughter asked me to, and B, because I paid for them.
Yeah.
I could have gone right back in that nail salon and been like, you know what? I don't like these. Can you just make them into a French manicure? Yeah. So 2 weeks later, Taylor, 2 weeks, 2 weeks, I go in and I get my French manicure and I come out and I have a huge smile on my face and I get in the car and my husband's like, let me see your nails. And I'm like, look, they're sparkly. He's like, that is the reaction that we're looking for. And I love them. Wow. And I look at your nails and I'm like, you know, I totally should have gotten hearts and all of that. And I think that we do that with our businesses. We see somebody else doing something shiny. And it's not even your nails. It's not the nail art. It is your energy around your nails.
Yeah.
Your energy around your business, your energy around your launch.
Yeah.
That's attractive. And I've gotta remember that that is your energy. And my job is to bring my energy, whatever that means, into my business and into my strategy.
Such a good analogy. I'll clarify the hearts.
I love your hearts and I've learned this new thing. That is kind of passive-aggressive. It's a little bit like the "bless your heart" in the South, but my new thing is "I love that for you." Oh, I love that.
I love that one. For you, for me, love it for all of us.
Yes, because it's like, I love your hearts. For you. Yes.
Every time I say that to my mom, she's like, "So you hate it?" I'm like, "But I love it for you." Exactly.
It's like, I'm not gonna do that, and I love that for you. Yeah. Okay, so with you now, tell me what business strategy is your heart nails while I sit over here in my French manicure land. Now you know, anytime you see me and I don't have a French manicure, I'm probably having a bad day.
I'm gonna be like, you okay? Do you need a hug? Your nail radar is going off.
I know, I know.
So my first major in college was a dual major of hospitality and entrepreneurship because I thought that I wanted to run an events company, and that little seedling I think really served me in marketing because I think about any launch or any campaign or any virtual experience interaction with my brand, any touchpoint really, I think about it like a themed party. My mind just works and thinking about things like parties and favors and I mean CEO Mama, you go to that retreat and there's small details that are like Oh, this is imprinted. This is memorable. This is a whole immersive experience. It's easier to create that at a party in person, but when you can create that within a launch, within a masterclass, within a newsletter, a podcast, the game changes. And that's why I think marketing is really intended, especially for us women, to be so fun and playful and just an outlet for our creativity and intuition to come through. That's when it always lands the best. So. Anytime I'm planning any sort of launch or even new program, I'm working on the Life Your Mastermind method right now, and I'm like, what is the personality or themed party of this brand or of this program? And how is that coming out in the visuals? And what kind of accents are we using? And when I post about it on stories, what songs are we thinking about that go with that frequency to just really create this like cohesive experience from top down, even if it's just on Instagram.
Dude, I love that. I love that. Here, you're gonna get a total behind the scenes, and I'm putting Tay on the spot. Are you ready?
I'm ready. So let's create—
we, at the end of this month, this will already be— you guys get such an amazing behind the scenes because this will already be launched by the time that we put out this podcast episode. So you get to go back and see how successful this was. I am going to have Taylor coach me live.
Let's—
here we go. So we've got the Work-Life Alignment Challenge the end of February, so it's the 24th through the 28th. And when we talk about like the low ticket offer, one of the things that drives me nuts is in the coaching industry is making coaching inaccessible, or my feeling around coaching being in order to make more money, just charge more.
Huge.
That being said, similar to you, I'm working about 4 to 8 hours a week. You know, I have a 1-year-old. I have my daughters and my priorities just look a little bit different. And so I schedule this one week a year that I do 5 days of free coaching live.
Love.
Yeah. And I love it. I absolutely love it. But if we step out of it and the invitation, there's the free challenge aspect of it, and then there's a VIP option, which you get an additional 45 minutes of coaching with me. Per day and then an hour and a half on Friday for $100.
Insane.
I know. I love it though. I love doing this. I leave it all on the table. This is my World Series of the year. Yeah.
Right?
And the energy around it is so beautiful. And then the invitation is of course to continue into our Defy Accelerator for those that are aligned. It's not one of those webinars where it's a bait and switch, like on day one, I'm letting you know if this is an eff yes from you. I wanna give you this invitation because if you show up for all 5 days, you're gonna know. So if I'm sitting in your mastermind, what questions do you start to ask as I'm creating this experience in order to amplify it? And guys, I just have to tell you, go check out Tay's Instagram because she literally makes it look like a party. It makes so much sense when she shares that. I remember your branding and marketing and posts. With the disco ball and I was like, dang girl, dang. So you'll have some new followers after this goes live, but I digress. I'm gonna be coachable now.
My first question, it would be, tell me more about the intention and the mood and the vibe.
Yeah, so the intention and the mood and the vibe is like these incredible coaches that absolutely slay it at coaching and yet they don't have a sold out practice. Because they don't know where to get clients, how to invite clients into the experience, and how to talk to the clients about the transformation without feeling salesy. They'll coach, they will coach their friends, they will coach people that they meet, and they're like, wow, that was mind-blowing. And then they're like, okay, great, thanks.
Yeah. I'm already having a download come through for you. Oh, I love that. I'll share it and we can go from there and you can take it or leave it. I'll preface this by saying I don't really watch these shows except for this year because I was looking for a Taylor Swift announcement. But what's coming through for me is it's this once-a-year bash that's curated and the Palooza. It reminds me of the Grammys or the Oscars in a certain way where it's, here's your like red carpet to starting your business. Here's your invitation. How can you like reframe VIP to something, you know, that they do the glam bot. Those award shows always have a different theme and a different dress code. And so if this is an annual thing, I would keep that maybe Hollywood red carpet vibe, but then interchange the themes year after year and make it a big thing where it's, what's the theme of 2025? And treat it like they're the celebrities attending this event and the significance of their work and their programs. And so I love that for you.
Oh my gosh, I absolutely love that. That's so good. That's so good.
The event, like the VIP award ceremony and recognize and celebrate them in some way.
Oh, that's so good. Look at your energy too. This is, you know, I know.
I'm like, I just, I see it. I see it.
I've gotta have you come into Defy and talk up these women on their marketing game because I think that for a lot of female entrepreneurs and a lot of coaches, there's this, uh, around marketing and sales.
I know.
Because we resist it and we resent it.
Well, it's also like I have to say the right thing to make the money and that is just like dreadful.
Yeah. Yeah. So one of the things that I, you said was that you show up for the things that you love in business. And my non-negotiable starting last year when I had my son was I'm gonna coach and I'm gonna speak cuz those are the two things that I can literally roll outta bed and slay.
That's it.
Everything on my calendar is coaching and speaking. That took some systems, that took some boundaries to set up in my business. So what do those systems and boundaries look like? For you so that you can just show up and give your clients these incredible downloads and feel like every day's a party.
Yeah. The communication for me was the first thing to really boundary that gave me the spaciousness to make the shift. So just knowing that even though I might have messages waiting for me on a Monday, no one's anticipating me to be online until Tuesday. And when things come in late on Thursday, there's no pressure of by the end of the business day because people aren't expecting me till Tuesday. My team is the same way and I streamline calls the same way, so I have calls on Tuesdays and Thursdays biweekly. Typically there's a lot of weeks where I don't have anything on my calendar at all. And goes back to business model. Why am I able to have that? Because the business model I'm choosing is a one-to-many model. And so I have like 10 calls a month on my calendar. That's between my mastermind, my team, my one-on-one clients, things like this. And that's really it. And then just really tight communication of not everyone gets access to me 9 to 5, 5 days a week. And that for my energy, to get out of that obligatory have to be on and respond and react. It has soothed my nervous system and creativity so deeply. Mm-hmm.
You know, I don't know if this is true for you. You already brought up manifestation. Okay. I think I'm going two places with this. So let me ask what I think is the simple question before I ask this juicy question. Great. Guys, I could talk to Tay all day. So like we're trying to keep this episode relatively short. So one of the things that I don't think when you started your business you were as open or heavy on was the manifestation as far as how you use it in business. So one of the things that I would say for me, let me speak for me, is that when I have these systems, when I have these boundaries, when I have the masculine riverbanks is what I call them, it creates more space for me to lean into the alignment. It creates more space for me to lean into manifestation and into intuition.
Yep.
And so tell me if that's the same for you or if it's different. What's do you been your relationship and what role does intuition and alignment play in the way that you're making business decisions?
My story that like blew me up for that first launch selling a manifestation program, I remember the ad because it just popped off and the first sentence was, I learned about the law of attraction when I was 9 years old. And my mom had kept the Secret, like CDs in the car, front side, back side. And me and my brother were homeschooled. We were with her all the time and we were like, goddamn mom, play KISS 98.5. We need some pop music. We weren't allowed to listen to the radio. But those principles just got seared in our brain at the most impressionable ages possible. And I didn't really connect the dots until later in life. I think the difference between 2018 Taylor and today Taylor in terms of practices is Back then we were building a business, and so there was a level of pushing through. If I didn't wanna do it that day, I had to do it that day cuz I was also working 60 hours a week and that was the time slot to build my business. Now today I've obviously done the work to do the building and build the spaciousness, but now there's that sacred honoring of energy of if it's not there today, we're not doing it today. And it's okay if we need to bump the launch because I'm not in a state of creation. We're gonna bump the launch and that's not no longer detrimental. It's really prioritized on just when I was coaching you, it's here, it's coming through, it has to come out now. And if I'm not in that state, I'm gonna do the work to get myself in that state, then come back and sit down at the computer.
So that goes to environment. Um, mm-hmm. Two of your best friends, one has a coaching certification.
Mm-hmm.
That has everything from NLP and hypnosis to all of the Feminine Woo and the masculine Riverbanks for business. And then your other business bestie is literally the Manifestation Babe.
Yeah.
And I love that. So how important is it to surround yourself and create an environment based on the principles that you've just shared, based on our nail game, based on manifestation, based on the way you do business?
Yeah. Oh, I love this question. You know, all your friends are in the woo space. For me, I feel like marketing is so feminine because to me marketing equates to artistry and the way to really channel that artistry, like you said, the river, to me the masculine is the bowl and the feminine is the Jell-O free-pooling around in there. Um, and so I'm always like, how do I create an environment and an identity embodied that allows me to be full on in my artistry without the blocks coming off of the— what do we You need to do it to convert. And all of those things, I feel, really dilute people's work in artistry. Something that I love about the word artistry is that you don't know it's art until you're done with it. Then you're like, wow, it's this work of art. And some people love certain pieces, some people hate it. Not every art is for everyone. And I really think that's the name of the game here. But when I think about my environment, the first thing is physical space. Non-negotiable from day one, I need an office that if you came in my office right now, you'd be like, oh, your brand alive. This is one of those party moments where there's disco balls and there's my brand on the wall and You know, the whole thing. So every, every place in my home is really curated to have me either feeling really regulated or to creatively thrive. And I think that even just working in a room where you're like always cluttered or you can't find things, or there's just like messiness visually, that's gonna completely translate into your creative energy. So that's number one. Number two is people you surround yourself with and conversations you're available to have. Like, are you spending a lot of time with people who are really whiny and the world sucks for them and whatever? Are you spending pe— time with people who really inspire you and uplift you? And I think that one, when you become a mom, two, when you become a business owner, your friend group changes just so naturally because you're just catapulted into this other vortex that nobody else gets for a moment in time. And then the third thing is like embodied identity. So I make it a point to wear a lot of gold jewelry because that just makes me feel elevated and sophisticated, and I care about having my nails done. They're showing my personality. I care when I get dressed and I go on a Zoom call that I'm feeling good. It's not a matter of I don't wanna show up with messy hair or this or that. It's am I embodied in my confidence in this current state? And if not, do I need to slick back my hair, throw on my pink lip gloss, or go get a manicure? Whatever those things are to make it feel like that physical version of me is truly in my body now.
Mm. That's so beautiful. And yeah, that's mirrored back to you by who you surround yourself with.
Totally.
You know, and it's, you know me and love me in the aspect that I'll show up in a hoodie. Yeah. And like, I'm gonna have Great Dane glitter on me.
Hundred.
Most of the time. And for our relationship, I feel like I invite you to soften even further into the comfy. Yeah. And you invite me to elevate how I show up just a little bit more in the playing. Like maybe I put lip gloss on.
Yeah. Well, I'll pick devil's advocate here because I have this pink sweat set that I've been rocking 3 times a week since I've bought it. But you could be in sweatpants, but if I throw on a gold hoop, all of a sudden I'm a chic-ass bitch, you know?
Yes. Yeah. No, I, I told you, like, I busted my ankle and so I literally— you would've laughed— I literally got out of bed and crawled on my hands and knees because my ankle, I can't walk on it right now. It's so swollen. But I crawled over to my jewelry cabinet and got earrings because that was my non-negotiable. Yeah, you can't walk, but you're gonna prioritize earrings. Like, the only thing I did this morning was change my bandage, get earrings, brush my hair.
And the simplicity of that is golden because so many people are like, Let me look for this big trauma and limiting belief and break in my strategy. Maybe you need to go get your nails done, honey. Yeah. Maybe it's not that serious and you just need to feel good in your body and in your environment, in your space. And then whatever you need to say to make money is gonna come through.
Well, I cannot wait to follow along and watch. I would 10 out of 10 encourage you guys to go check out the Life or Method. I want you to check out Tay's content in two aspects. One is she's golden, like she's absolutely brilliant. The second is in how, and this goes with the brilliance, but like how she presents it. It's very much the party. It's very much like marketing brilliance and genius. And it's also in our industry such an interrupter because it doesn't feel over-curated. It doesn't feel over-planned. It feels very present. It feels very live. It feels very open and invitational. And so I know you've got the Lifer Mastermind that's coming up, but what's next for you? Like any other big visions or projects that you're excited about?
Well, hopefully baby number 2 will be our next project. I'm like, yes.
Okay. Let's send that energy out. Yes.
Receiving it all. We got married in Jamaica 7 years ago. Our dog's name is Marley. It's just a place that holds a lot of significance to us and we're going in May, so I'm like, maybe we'll conceive a little tropical baby. But yeah, I'm just building this new program. Gonna be the last for a while, taking care of my mastermind and just making sure the business is good for. Another little babe.
I love that.
I love that.
Yeah. And you and I talked about so much at the, the retreat that we just went to that I'm definitely gonna follow up offline.
Yeah, you said 3 fucking words to me and I'm like crying.
Like, we will keep you guys updated on the magic that comes from that. So last question, you know this is coming. You were so prepared for this question. What is your definition of a Yes And life?
Yes, and to me is not ever having to choose between one thing or another, one identity or another, what hat you wanna wear. Or I embody 20 different identities every day, and maybe some days are different or seasons are different, but you couldn't call me a mom and I'd feel fulfilled, or an entrepreneur and I'd feel fulfilled, or a wife or a daughter or a friend or a creative or a spiritual, what, like, whatever. I'm all of it. And I love that we don't have to pick between one or the other.
You are so brilliant. I just, I love you so much. And for everybody else who has fallen in love with you on this podcast, where is the best place to connect with you? Yes.
Come find me on Instagram @taylorslango. And then we're also on the Aligned and Ambitious podcast. So say hi either way.
Yes. And I'm gonna go crash the Aligned and Ambitious podcast as well. So you guys can, yes, listen to that episode.
We gotta get it on the books.
I know. Thank you so much for being here and for sharing this moment and your brilliance with this community. You are definitely the definition of a Yes And Unicorn. And so thanks for coming in and sharing all of that and sprinkling all that magic on this community.
Love you. Love all your people. And I love this talk.
Thank you guys for listening. Taking us on the go, whether you had a nice like shower podcast moment, or I always imagine you taking us on the beach and having this long walk on the beach and having all of these massive downloads and breakthroughs. And since you definitely had those massive downloads and breakthroughs, please hit that follow and subscribe button. It seriously does wonders for the show and organic growth is so important to me. And so what means the most to me is 2 things. So here's, here's my homework for you guys. One is to connect with Taylor and I and let us know what you took away from this show. Let us know what we talked about that really landed for you and any questions that you have. Like the, these podcasts are designed to be the beginning of a conversation with us. And so genuinely email hello@bunnyyoung.com or the best place to connect is definitely on Instagram. And so all of those links are below in the show notes. My second piece of homework, we talked about this in the episode, is for you guys to take this episode and to genuinely share it with somebody that you think that it's gonna move the needle for and it's going to open somebody else's mind, their heart, and it's gonna support them on their yes and journey. So those are my two very simple pieces of homework for you, and I really do appreciate you guys listening. You guys sharing how this show has impacted you, and I'd love to hear from you, and I know Taylor would as well. So, I'm Bunny Young, and I will see you on the next episode.
