3 counter questions you want to ask in the interview to see if they give a shit about you or not. In every recruitment process, they're either going to be asking you questions or interviewing you because they're genuinely interested in you, or they're just filling a quota on how many people they need to interview for the role. First counter question: what drew you to my profile, or what stood out on my resume? Second question: where do you see this role going, and how does that fit into the overall company strategy? Third question: what is the problem you are ultimately wanting this role to fill? Or what is the solution you are ultimately wanting this role to provide? And where do you think there is the best alignment between my skills and experience versus that need? Ask these questions at every interview that you're in, and you'll know whether you're actually a viable candidate for the role or if you're just meeting a quota.
