In this video, Colin Brown announces the release of autonomous agents in ChatGPT, available through a ChatGPT Plus subscription ($20/month). He walks viewers through the new Agent Mode, showing the tools interface where users can create agents that spin up dedicated virtual machines to execute tasks independently. Brown demonstrates a simple agent that researches web questions, writes a SEO‑optimized blog post with an image, and schedules it to run every Monday. He explains his plan to replace routine standard operating procedures with agents, freeing his time for higher‑level work. The key points are that agents require no coding, run autonomously, and can handle reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and content creation, offering significant time savings for businesses.

Well folks, it's here. If you've been sitting on the fence, now's a good time to jump in with both feet. Autonomous agents have been released to ChatGPT. You will have to have a Plus account. It is $20 a month and worth every penny. So what do agents do for you and your business? And how does it work? First, get a Plus account. And when you log in, you're going to see some options down here called tools. And this is a new mode. It's called the Agent Mode, and it looks like I have 36 agents left. When you create an agent, it's going to fire up a virtual machine just for you that will give that machine instructions to carry out for a specified period of time and run independent of you having to do anything. Click on Agent Mode. And then give it a task. You'll see some examples here. These are very simple tasks. These are suggested. How about reports? We'll see some actions, spreadsheets, and presentations, which you can also do now. So for my first agent, I created a very simple prompt that you can see here. I'm going to have it go out and research out on the web questions that people are asking and then create a blog post that I can put on my blog along with an image. And I want it to run indefinitely every Monday. And all you do is let it run. And here is what it created. The blog post with an image. And it's already optimized for the search engines. This is a big deal. My next step is I'm going to go through my SOPs, my standard operating procedures, and I'm going to create wherever possible an agent to go out and take care of things that I do on a regular basis so that I can spend my time on higher-level projects and tasks. Saving me a ton of time. So give it a shot. There's no coding required. It will do all the programming for you. It will run independently so that you can run your business. I can't wait to see all the cool things that you're going to create and that I'm going to create for my business. So drop a line sometime and let me know how you're using it.
