There's a lot of reasons to say no to cutting-edge technology. AI is very different in its adoption rate than normal technology. We're used to an industry where 2 years in the software industry is equal to 20 in manufacturing or 20 in finance. But now, 6 months in our industry is equal to 3 or 4 years because literally it's expanded faster. Traditionally, developers want things because they know that's what they need to have the job be done well. But when you're experimenting, scale is the last thing you should care about. But it's sometimes the first thing that developers will talk about. Oh, it's more efficient. It's more productive. None of those things are true. Right? None of those things are true.
