And this tip in this video is gonna really help you with this. So self esteem, really quick definition is how you view yourself and do you esteem yourself? Do you view yourself highly? Do you think positively of yourself? Do you like who you are? Do you think that your other people are gonna like who you are? These are all aspects of your self esteem. So naturally, if you don't think much of yourself and you think other people aren't going to think much of you, your self seems going to be low. And then what does that do to your confidence? Do you boldly walk into the room and go talk to those people if you think there's not much to like about me and they certainly aren't going to like me? No. Right. Your confidence is naturally low if your self esteem is low. So we got to boost both of those suckers up. How do we do that? Well there are many strategies to do that and the first and foremost, and this is going to be step one of this process is you gotta stop the hemorrhaging. Are you constantly criticizing yourself? Berating yourself? You have a part inside of your mind that's building a case against you. You see, I knew that wouldn't work out. Those people aren't gonna like you. You can't do this. You're ugly, you're not smart enough, you're too emotional, whatever it says, and it's just going and going and going and you listen to it and you believe it and you give it your power. And if so you gotta stop that. That's step number one in this process. You have to stop that. And if you don't know how to stop that, go to Dr. A and sign up for my I have a five part video course It's a mini course that you can get absolutely free where I share the five steps to unleash your inner confidence. And the first step teaches you exactly how to stop that toxic self coaching. So it's the first step you got to do. The second step to boost your self esteem is to own your strengths and own your value. And here's a simple practice to do that. Take several minutes, you might even think of them right now during this video to think of what are five qualities that you appreciate about yourself? You know what? Are you funny? Are you intelligent? Are you compassionate? Are you driven? Are you determined? Are you loving? Are you playful? You're silly. You got a great sense of humor. Whatever they are, own them. Write down five of them. Literally make a list on paper or in a phone or something like that on a digital file. This is what I like about myself. This is, I am what I am intelligent, I am playful, I am funny. And make that list also. You can ask people close to you in your life, a friend, partner, a family member, and say, hey, I am doing this confidence work and I'd love to get feedback from you. What do you see in me? What positive qualities do you see that might be uncomfortable? That's a confidence building exercise in itself. To boldly ask for something right? And then see what you get back and then add that to your list and you're gonna make this list. And also ask yourself this question. When I'm at my best, when I'm feeling the most free, the most relaxed, the most naturally confident, what am I like? And you're gonna put that on your list as well. And then you're gonna read that list and some of those are gonna feel true instantly. You're like, yeah, I know that I'm smart. And then some of them, you know, maybe you're like, when I'm at my best, man, I'm just like charming and creative. And then you look at that and you're like charming and creative. That's okay. You don't have to believe everything on the list. Here is how you transform your self esteem over time. You read that list every single day. I have one client who was just sharing on my mastermind programs that he's been doing that for months now. And it's radically improved his self esteem in a lot of areas, especially in his dating life, his love and relationships. And simply reading it once per day when he first wakes up, what would happen in your life if you did that? If you stopped the inner criticism, you interrupted that pattern and you started getting on your own side and you acknowledged what makes you you, what you're unique, what makes you likable, what your positive qualities are. It sounds so simple and it is. It is possible to do this. You can build self esteem. You can do this now you just got to do the exercise. If you don't follow the practice hearing about it won't change anything. You got to commit and say I'm going to write this list down and then I'm going to read it once a day. So share down below in the comments about your experience with this. Heck you want to share some things from your list. I am what share it down in the comments. You can start to own it there and then own it to yourself each morning when you wake up. Thanks for being with me today. Until we speak again, may I have the courage to be who you are and to know on a deep level that you're awesome.
