Six simple ways that you can boost confidence starting today. This is from someone who's been studying it for the last 20 years and helped thousands of people transform their confidence from social anxiety into being who they really are. Number one is to approach someone that you don't normally talk to to start a conversation. Could be a colleague, a co worker, a stranger on the street. Build that social confidence muscle by using it. Number two, look for an opportunity to ask a question of somebody that you might not normally raise your hand in a meeting. Just ask a stranger a simple question. Hey, do you think we should go here or there for dinner? Basic stuff like that. Again, connecting with your fellow humans. Number Find an opportunity to disagree or share a different opinion than someone that you're normally smiling and nodding. In fact, number four is to pull back all of the smiley, naughty, nice person behavior and just become more clear when interacting with people. Number five is to take some sort of risk to bet on yourself. And number six is to look yourself in the eyes for about five seconds in the mirror and say something that you love about yourself in your own head.
