A short motivational talk by Dr. Aziz arguing that life rewards boldness: if you explicitly ask for what you want across social, romantic, and career contexts, you will receive far more than if you only hint. He emphasizes practical examples (inviting someone, requesting help, informational interviews, asking about job options) and reframing rejection as a liberating, collectible step toward greater access to opportunities.

Here's a life changing confidence principle that I've seen. After Studying this for 21 years and working with thousands of people, life will reward you for boldness. If you boldly ask for what you want, you will get so much more in life. And if you timidly hint at what you want, you'll get next to nothing. And so what does that look like? That means right now, in your life, in your social life, your friendships, in dating and relationships, in your career, there are at least a dozen, dozen ways you could more boldly be saying what you want, asking for what you want, going for what you want. Hey, do you want to spend time with me on Saturday? Hey, I'd love to join you for that thing. Hey, can you give me some help? Hey, I'm doing some informational interviews. Hey, I'd love to talk to you about options in your company or your career in this situation and being able to show up fully. This is what I want. What do you got? And the only reason that we don't is because we're afraid someone saying no, the dreaded no. But when you get over that and you say, you know what, I'm going to collect no's, I'm going to pursue this, I'm going to get rejected more because I know it's going to liberate me. All of a sudden you can ask boldly and watch what happen, happens in your life.
