The piece prompts listeners to consider what they could ask for today.

Is to ask more. I know it sounds kind of stupid, obvious, but in your life are you doing that? Most people I see are avoiding asking because they're afraid of bothering somebody. They're afraid of getting rejected. But deep down they have a sense that they shouldn't ask. It's wrong or it's bad or it's selfish or it's greedy and then you don't end up asking and you don't get what you want in life. I can't tell you how many stories I have of clients who thought it wouldn't work but because they started to build their confidence, take risks, they just started to ask more. They asked for things with their partner of friends, of family, colleagues, renegotiated salaries, so many things that they went into the room thinking and they're probably not going to. Yeah, they're probably going to say no and you ask and you get a yes. So what could you ask for today?
