And now it's time to Ask the Shrink. Hey, welcome to this bonus episode of Ask the Shrink. This one is awesome. Here we go. Hello, Aziz, I want an advice from you. I watched some videos of Will Smith and came to the solution that he is one of the most charismatic men of the earth. His powerful magnetic movement, magnetic voice, and his warm eyes. When he listens to someone, I want to know from you, if I could observe him and emulate his charisma. How can I have such warm, soft eyes like Will Smith? What you do think, Aziz? Happy to hear from you soon. Best regards, Karam from Austria. Thanks, Keram. I love this question. I gotta say, my favorite part is, how can I have such warm, soft eyes like Will Smith? Now, we all know what Karam is talking about here. Will Smith is one incredibly charismatic, charming, handsome, impressive dude. He just exudes confidence. And his question here is, could I observe him and emulate his charisma? And the answer is absolutely yes. Modeling is, hands down one of the fastest and most powerful ways to learn anything, any skill, from fixing your car to golf, to an instrument, to public speaking, to charisma. And charisma is a skill. And in fact, I was just. I'm listening to one of Shawn Stevenson's books right now called get off youf Butt. And he worked in the White House with Bill Clinton. And Bill Clinton is known for being incredibly skilled at talking to people and a great connector and communicator. And he wrote down 10 things that he observed Bill Clinton doing on a regular basis to increase his charisma. So that was him studying and observing Clinton, who was a charismatic man. You can do the same with Will Smith. Study and observe him. I remember I watched the movie Forgetting Sarah Marshall, which if you've never seen, you should check it out. It's hilarious, it's funny, it's great. And in there is the comedian Russell Brand. He plays some rock star character. And I loved that character. He was like super confident, totally unflappable, kind of a smart ass, kind of smug. I mean, kind of over the top. But I loved it so much. I remember I got home that night and I said, okay, I'm not gonna act totally like that guy. Cause he's absurd. But what are three qualities that I could emulate to be more like him and you, Karam. And everyone listening should do the same for Will Smith or Russell Brand or any other character you see in a movie. You can absorb those qualities. Or maybe it's a colleague that you observe every day and think is very Charming and charismatic. Maybe it's the leader of the company you're in. Maybe it's a friend that you have. Who's that guy or that person who's super charming and charismatic. Just emulate them. And if there's a party that's like, oh, I'm copying them, or someone's gonna say, who do you think you are? That's not you. You know what? That's just in your head. People aren't paying that much attention. Just emulate them and be specific. You know, notice what does he do with his eyes? Most likely when you're saying he's got warm, soft eyes, you know what he's doing. He's holding direct eye contact. Maybe he's got a certain facial expression. His lips are slightly. It's like a half smile that they might call it, you know, like just a little bit of a smile, not a big toothy grin. Maybe after he says something, there's kind of this like spark or energy in his eyes. Notice what those things are and emulate them. Emulate the way he stands, the way he talks, the way he moves. You can do this with anyone that you admire. I know. I did this with tons of people, especially Tony Robbins in terms of speaking and influencing people. I studied the hell out of him and emulate it like crazy. That's how you get further, faster. Steve Chandler calls it reinventing yourself. And that's what you can do when you emulate someone. So, Karam, give yourself full permission to emulate, copy, absorb as much as you can. And you might be shocked how the next thing you know, people are saying, wow, how do you have such warm, soft eyes? And how are you such a charismatic badass, Karam? So thanks for asking your question. Anyone else, if you have a question for me, send it in. You can go to shrinkforthshyguy.com you can record an audio question or you can leave a send an email or message or text or whatever. I'll get it. I'll answer it. I love interacting with you. Thank you so much for listening. You are awesome. And until we speak again, may you have the courage to be who you are and to emulate and be whoever you want to be. We'll talk soon. Sam.
