Today, I want to share a simple hack little mental trick that you can use to instantly increase your confidence and specifically your ability to take bold, confident action. So where do you want to take bold, confident action? Right? Maybe it's in your workplace, your love life, your social life. Just walk over to that group of people and say, hey, guys, how's it going? Right? You could probably think of a million places where bold, confident action would serve you. So this little mind trick can help you axe as much as possible because you have confident action inside of you. You have boldness inside of you, you have confidence inside of you. The issue is not whether it's there or not, the issue is whether you access it in the moment. Isn't it true? Right? Because you might be with a friend and you're chatting, you're coming up with ideas and you're sharing things and you're feeling great. And then there's that group of four people that are powerful or attractive or intimidating. And then you're like, I can't access it. Right? So how do you, you access that part of you in the moment that you want to. Here's the trick. Ready? You're going to imagine that there is a future version of you who already just does that kind of stuff, right? Not too far fetched here. We're not going super sci fi, but, right, there is a future potential version of you that can just go do blank, right? Can just go walk over to that group of people. I'm using that as an example. But you can think of this in your career. You can, you know, public speaking or whatever. I want to go over there and talk to that group of people. There's a future version of me that just does it. Not only does that future version of you just go do it. It's not even a big deal. That version of you just walks over and says, hey, everyone, how's it going? It's not this like, okay, here we go. Yes, yes, here we go. Hey everybody. And inside your heart's beating and you're like, maybe that's the in between versions, right? But there's a future version of you that's like, hey, I just walk over and I do it. It's no big deal. Now how do you use that to go take more bold action? So there you are, you're about, you have the opportunity to go take that bold action and then you feel the hesitation, you feel the nervousness, feel the anxiety, feel the doubt coming up. You just remember, hey, there's a future version of me where this is no big deal. No big deal. You know what I'm gonna do? I'm just gonna be that future version now. I mean, why not? I could wait six months. I could wait 10 years, or I could just do it now. Then what happens? You start to move. You take the action. You start to move towards the thing. Maybe your heart does beat faster. Maybe you are more nervous than this future self. Maybe you. Something goes wrong, who knows? It doesn't matter. Because now you are on the trajectory to that future version of yourself. Because to become that future version of yourself, here's the secret. You must act in that way, consistently and repeatedly from here on out, from here until that future version of you. So you access that future version. You remind yourself, like, oh, yeah, I can be that. I am that. That's me now. It could be here I go. And you go do it. Even if you're nervous, that's okay. Because over time, it'll dissolve. And just by tapping into that future version of you, you might have boldness or courage or capacity or an ability to take action that you never did before. So test that out and share down below in the comments what you discover from using that little mental hack. I found it really fun recently. I've actually been doing it recently. I take cold showers in the morning, and I have these periods where sometimes I'll go for a couple of days in a row where right before I get in the cold shower, I'm like, ugh, I don't want to do it. And I'm kind of resisting it. And I just started saying, you know what? There's a future version of me where I just get in the cold shower. It's no big deal. All right, let's go do it. And I remember that. And then I go do it. And it's no big deal. It's a trippy thing. Very fun, easy to access. Play with it. Share down the comments below what you're finding most useful. So we can all learn from each other, we can all grow, we can all lift each other up until we speak again. May have the courage to be who you are and to know on a deep level that you're awesome. Talk to you soon.
