A short testimonial transcript in which Andrew describes his experience before and after working with Dr. Aziz at the Center for Social Confidence. He reports variable social confidence and intense self-criticism before coaching, and substantial gains afterward — increased energy, easier interactions with strangers, greater willingness to be vulnerable, and improved self-compassion. He strongly recommends Aziz for transformative work (not a quick-fix), expresses deep gratitude, and notes continued personal growth.

My name is Andrew, and I am putting together this video for Aziz for the center for Social Confidence. It's going to be a little bit vulnerable for me, but before I was coaching with Aziz, I would say, you know, my experience with social confidence and social anxiety was very variable. There were some days that I felt very on, very confident, very excited to engage with people, and then there were days where I felt completely uncomfortable and like, I didn't want to have anything to do with people, and my anxiety was very rampant. And I also felt not very whole in myself. So some of the things that I've experienced through working with him have been, you know, having more energy, feeling more confident, interacting with strangers much more easily, engaging in, you know, lengthy conversations with people in line at Starbucks, and actually feeling really fulfilled and good in my body, you know, striking up random conversations with people in the street if I wanted to. My sense of self has gotten more expressed. I feel like I'm able to talk to people about things that are important for me much more easily. And that used to be a big challenge. You know, I can kind of make myself vulnerable in front of people and actually show them more of who I really am. And that hasn't always been the case. One of the big things that I've learned through working with Aziz is really, you know, how to love myself more and how to have more compassion and, you know, just going easy on myself. You know, so many of the ways that I was acting in the world before were really, you know, I just had this horrible self talk. What I was, you know, I was almost berating myself. If I didn't meet up to this high expectation or standard that I had for myself, and if I just even missed it by a minimal amount, a miniscule amount, I would literally read myself out and say, oh, you're a horrible person. La la la la la. You're not worth anything. And I would just go on this attack, and I would attack myself and barrage myself with negative criticism, and it really wasn't healthy. So that's another big, big piece. What shifted since I worked with Aziz. So with all that being said, I highly, highly, highly recommend his work, and it really has been very powerful and transformative for me. And I would say, don't work with Aziz. If you're just looking for, you know, a quick fix and you want to just, like, you know, learn how to strike up conversations with, like, with a random person, I mean, he can help you with that, but as far as I can tell, he's really about helping you transform your whole experience. And to me, that's really been invaluable. And I'm very, you know, pretty much, like, eternally grateful for the man he's helped me step into and become. And I still have a lot of work to do, but I've come a long, long way. So thank you very much and good luck.
