And I want to share one simple technique with you today that's going to help you shift out of fear and into confidence. That's the theme of this channel, but this is going to be one that's really going to help you across the board and everything. But here's the thing, what I found, and I just came across this really recently. Just yesterday when I was going for a run, I came up with this is I noticed that on days where I'm anxious and less confident, I tend to approach life and the things that arise in it as if they're threats. Like, what more could go wrong? And then you get an email, it's like you're checking your inbox and you're like, what threats are awaiting me there? Or someone has a request from me or someone doesn't like something or there's a problem in the business and it's like, ah, oh God. Threat, threat. And I might not be consciously saying this is a threat, but my body's reacting like it is. And then I get home and there's an issue with one of the kids or whatever. It's like, threat, threat. Wow. What more could you know? We're kind of like trying to get through the day with fewer threats. And so I was going for this run and I was just feeling like stressed about all These things in my life and everything was a threat. And I was like, man, this doesn't feel good. What else can I do? So I thought, what if? And I was thinking about one particular situation in my life where there's a little bit of a difference of opinions between me and a team member, and we're kind of a little bit of conflict around it. And I was like, stressing the threat, right? What could happen? Maybe it's. Maybe our relationship's gonna be over. Oh, God. And then I thought, okay, wait a minute. And here's the key. Here's the takeaway for you. The question I want you to ask yourself. What if this isn't a threat? What if this is an opportunity? What if this isn't a threat? What if it's an opportunity? And the moment I had that question, I felt a little bit of relief, and I was like, oh, that feels good. Let's keep going with that. And then I said, what? Let's just say it is like, what if it is an opportunity. I don't say what if? I just decide this is an opportunity. What if all these threats in my life are opportunities? And I didn't even have solutions to all the stuff that was going on, all the problems or whatever. I just had that, wait, wait, what if these are all opportunities? And then I started to immediately relate to it differently and actually feel instantly better. So what if the next thing that comes up is not a threat, it's an opportunity. Opportunity for what? I don't know. That's what you get to discover. That's what I get to discover. Maybe it's an opportunity of how I'm going to choose to handle that, or what kind of relationship I want to create, or an opportunity to say no, or an opportunity to do something uncomfortable or an opportunity to grow. What is the opportunity? I don't know. But as soon as it becomes that it's no longer a threat, it's no longer something bad, it's no longer a life that's like attacking you or just relentlessly bringing bad stuff your way. But maybe it's something more benevolent. Maybe it's life guiding you. Or as I've heard Tony Robbins, one of my mentors, say, what if life is not happening to you, but it's happening for you? And that question really helps me get into that. What if this is not a threat, it's an opportunity. So use that in your life. And I can't wait to hear more about your experience.
