Conflict is awesome. How can that be? Well, just the other day, I was talking with a client and she was telling me she was really grateful for the relationships in her life, which not too uncommon. People say that often, right? She said, you know, I'm really grateful for Aziz is that I can have conflict in those relationships because before she met me, she could never have conflict with people and everything had to be nice. And the relationships were all stifled and suffering and not working very well, and now they were thriving. Why? Not because she was just lovey dovey and trying to please everybody, but because she was happ having conflict with people. She was saying no. She was asking for what she wanted. She was disagreeing at times. And guess what? That actually made the relationships healthier over time, to the point where now she's truly grateful for them, not telling herself she should be grateful for them and having all these buckets of resentment. So the question I have for you is, where are you going to find that next conflict? And when it happens, can you celebrate it? Because it means things are about to get a lot better.
