There are two essential secrets you need to know to deal with toxic co workers. Now, the first is a mindset shift. Most people are like, oh no, so and so works here. I got to sit near that person. This is awful. And they see it as some tragic problem that's befallen them. No. Realize that this is an opportunity for growth. This person who tramples all over your boundaries is an opportunity to build boundaries. This person who's critical of you is an opportunity for you to respond to criticism or find that confidence and strength and size so you don't care so much what other people think of you. Reframe that. Or else you're always out of doubt deficit. The second thing you got to do is most people will avoid that person because it feels uncomfortable. You actually have to approach that person. You have to be the one that says, I'm going to have the conversation. No one else wants to talk with a person about it. I'll talk about it. This person. Now, I know that might seem like a big stretch from where you are. Study my book Not Nice or go to my website drz.com to get the tools to do this. But when you do, your experience at work will radically change with this person and other people will start to pursue you. Asking for help with difficult people.
