Good news. Your doubt will never stop. It's never going to go away. There's never going to come a time where you're going to put yourself out there in some way, especially a way that makes you feel a little bit nervous. Maybe it feels like a bit of a risk asking someone out, pursuing something that your heart desires, whether it's in your career or in love or relationship or a passion or your art or something. Putting yourself out there in some way you want to do it. And then there's the voice of doubt. It's not gonna work. What if they don't like it? What if no one likes it? Are you just making these stories up in your head? Your idea, your business idea is no good. Oh, that person couldn't possibly want to be with you, would they want to be with you? I don't think they want to be with me. I don't know. It's probably not gonna work out. You know, you've been this way for so long, you probably can't change. You know, there's a thousand and one voices and phrases and stories that come with a doubt. I'm sure you're very familiar with your own, right? And guess what? That's never going to go away. And that people, sometimes they're like, wait, you're a confidence coach, don't you? What? Shouldn't that. Isn't that what you're helping me get rid of? No, no. What I can help you do, and these videos can help you do, and my materials, my course and all that stuff can help you do is to develop your ability to act in spite of the doubt. That's what you have control over. Because doubt is just thought patterns. It's just noise. You don't have control over every thought in your head. Well, I can't 100% say that for sure. Maybe you do. I've never met anybody that has 100% control of every thought in their head, 100% control of every feeling that they experience. No, you don't have control of that. What do you have control over? You have control over how you choose to show up to whatever life brings you. And that includes the external world, circumstances, event, people, fortune, good fortune, bad fortune, the vicissitudes of life, gain and loss, all that stuff that's just coming your way. And then there's your thoughts, which are responding to all the information and life around you. And sometimes they feel good, sometimes they're negative. And, like, they're just all over the place. Right? And your emotions are all over the place. So what do you have control over? You have control over how I am going to show up today? Who am I going to be today? What kind of values am I going to live by? Am I going to be direct? Am I going to be honest? Am I going to listen to what I think is true and right and real and go for it, make the best choices that I can? That's what you got, control. So how am I going to show up to those thoughts? Well, the thoughts of doubt is the one we're talking about in this video. How are you going to respond to those? That's what you have control over. Because if you're waiting for the doubt to go away, it's like, okay, I'm going to do X when it doesn't rain, you know, so I'm gonna start my business if it doesn't rain. If it's not raining for six months, then I'll start my business. You're like, okay, well, I don't know, maybe if you live in, like, the Southwest or something, United States, you can go six months or a whole year with no rain. I don't know if that's a good thing. But anyway, you know, for the most part, that's not gonna happen, Right. It's just sometimes it's gonna rain, sometimes it's not. Sometimes there's gonna be doubt in here, sometimes not. And if you spend your time trying to whack a mole, the doubt away. Now, doubt loves that, because the purpose of doubt is to prevent you from taking the bold actions. It's a safety mechanism. It's a threat, fear, response to life that makes you want to stay contracted and therefore safe. Not really safe, but it feels safer, right? So I'm not going to take that risk. And the doubt will either tell you it's not going to work, so don't try, or it's going to, say, get really absorbed in me. So now you're like, well, hold on a second, I better have rid of all my doubts before I move forward. No, move forward with doubt. What would you do? Regardless of what the doubt's saying, whether it's going to work or not, if you knew you couldn't fail, what would you go after? If you knew you were unstoppable, what would you go for? If I'm going to flip the question. So I said, if you knew you couldn't fail, what would you go after? Here's the other side of it. What if it was okay to fail a lot on the way to your goal? What if you were going to fail a couple of times or more along the way, but you knew eventually you're going to get there. Would that change things for you? What would you do? What would you go after? How would you act today? How do you want to show up when doubt arises? Do you give a lot of attention? Do you put everything on pause in your life? Or do you say, okay, there's some doubt? It's raining today. I'm gonna go out for my run. I'm gonna go do this thing, whatever it is you do. Because why? Because you're committed to it. Because you're living by your values, by what matters to you. A meaningful life that you want to create, that is worth living, that you feel proud of, that can give you a true sense of confidence. That's what you can create. And the only way you can create that is to act in spite of the doubt. Let the doubt be there. You don't need to fight it. You don't need to control. You don't need to get rid of it. Just keep moving forward. And that shows that you are unstoppable. Thanks for being with me today. Until we speak again, may have the courage to be who you are and to defy doubt. Be well.
