And they're like, yeah, I do. I'll watch this later, though, when I have more time. So if you're watching this, well done. And. And let's break through. This video is meant to be like just a sword that just slices through that malaise that we can get into, that stagnation, that waiting energy. And sometimes we can know we're doing it, and sometimes we just fall into it without even seeing it. And this just came up recently in a mastermind call that I was running, and there was a guy there who was kind of waiting for something to happen because he's been in the mastermind for a little while. He knows actions he wants to take. He's got the support, he's got the skills and the tools, but he's waiting. What is he waiting for? What are you waiting for? Here are a couple of the big things. One, sometimes we're waiting for it to be more comfortable. Maybe I'll do that when it sounds easier. When it seems easier, I'll start working out. When it seems easier, I'll start eating healthier. When it seems easier, I'll start approaching people and building friendships. When that somehow seems easier. Or another word for easier is maybe I'd be less scared. Sometimes sounds a little more comfortable, right? So here's the thing. It's never going to be. It's never going to Be more comfortable. In fact, it's probably going to go the opposite. It's going to be less comfortable. The longer you wait, the more you delay, the more you hold off on that, the harder it's going to be, the more anxiety and stories are going to build up. Because when you hold and trust me, I did this for a really long time. I held off on approaching women I was attracted to for a decade, avoided it like the plague. And when you do that, you obviously aren't getting positive responses in that area. So. And replace this for anything that applies to your life, approaching someone you're attracted to. But also possibly, like we mentioned diet earlier, whatever it is, the longer you're doing the ineffective thing, the avoidance thing, not only are you not getting the results, then your mind starts to come up with stories as to why you're not getting those results. And for me, it was because I'm ugly. Oh, I'm ugly. That's why no woman's attracted to me or I'm boring or I'm not as cool as those guys. And now they. Not only do you have the fear to overcome, now you got all these shitty stories on top of that that have been keeping you stuck. So when you eventually do want to punch through, which I did, now you gotta, like, claw your way through all these stories and then face a bunch of raw fear. So why wait? Why hold off? Like, go in. And now, now is the time. Because here's the thing. There are many ways to go through life, but here's a distinction of just two core ways to go through life. One is like molasses. And those are the people that take a real long time to decide, should I do that thing or not? You know, I was speaking with a client who's got extremely skilled in his career, you know, makes good money in his company, been doing it for, like, whatever, 15 years. Highly respected, but is not satisfied working there. Was not satisfied at the last place. And the reason he's not satisfied at these places is because deep down he's wanted to start his own business. And he knows he can do it because he's got all these skills. And guess when he first came up with that idea to start his own business, he came up with that idea, I think it was like 10 or 11 years ago. So he's been avoiding it for 10 or 11 years. That's molasses, right? Same thing with, like, I'm in this relationship, should I be in it or not? I don't know, is this really what I want or not? And that's okay to go through that phase of questioning, right? But you talk to people that have been in that phase for like five or six years, and it's like, dude, are you in or are you out? And so here's the thing behind all that waiting. Whether it's in, should I leave this relationship or should I start my own business? Should I, you know, go approach those people and build my social life? Should I do X, Y and Z in my career? Should I change my health? Should I, Whatever it is that you are waiting to do, you know why we're waiting? It comes down to just one thing. One thing. Discomfort. That's it. Now, the discomfort might be fear in a lot of cases, but it could be some other discomfort as well. But it's. I don't want to experience that discomfort. I don't want to feel that fear. I don't want to feel the discomfort of not knowing or being confused or, you know, being scared or being overwhelmed. I don't want to feel that discomfort. So I'm going to wait. I'm going to wait until somehow the discomfort's gone, and then I'm going to go take that action. And it doesn't work. It's never going to work. And you'll be waiting to 10 years from now. And a lot of the people that I work with have been waiting 15 years or more on average, maybe sometimes even longer. Usually their challenges started when they were about teenage years, sometimes earlier. And then I'm talking to them when they're in their mid-30s, so maybe 20 years. Sometimes I talk to people younger that are in their 20s, sometimes people that are older, in their 40s, 50s, 60s. I'm working with one client who's 80 years old, but years, decades of waiting. And I wanted to shoot this video right now to like, get through to you. Don't wait. Because the alternative to molasses style life is to be just fucking lightning, is to be lightning. Be quick in decisions, be quick in action. Do not hesitate. Three second rule. One, two, three, jump, go. That's lightning. And when we do that, when we operate with lightning, man, things can happen so fast. Things that I've done, I've been able to grow a business with way more rapidly. I remember I was in a mastermind program, and I got in there and I could instantly see some of those people were molasses. And I was in the program for two years, and some people were as well. We had the same kind of cohort. And two years later, they're still doing Kind of the same thing. Two years later, for me, man, everything transformed. I started doing live events. I created a mastermind program. I wrote another book. I did this, I did that. It's lightning. It's because it's just this willingness, this boldness. And guess what? Lightning is a muscle. You can build it. So you practice it. And the more you make quick decisions, you act on it, you go, there is a downside to this. Sometimes I make decisions too quickly. Sometimes I get rid of something. My famous saying around the house that my wife teases me about is, get rid of it. You know, so I'll have something around the house, I'll be like, get rid of it. You know, lightning decision. And then like six months later, we're like, oh, that thing. Oh, yeah, I got rid of it. But I'm okay with that. You know, that's okay. It's a little bit of a casualty around this style of decision making, but for the most part, it served me incredibly well. And you just make the decision, you take the action, you follow through, and you learn on the go. And then it's kind of like you're running downhill and you're getting momentum and then you start to run. If you've ever done this, you kind of run really fast downhill, and it almost feels like you're gonna fall and your legs just go out in front of you to keep you from falling. And that's kind of how life starts to go, is you just start to fly and you're like, what if I fall? What if I fall? What if I fall? But you don't, because your legs just keep going and you grow and you get faster and you get stronger. So as you're watching this, what are you waiting about and what are you going to do now? Like, what action can you take literally right now at the end of this video? Go do it. Decide on something. Take that action. This is a wake up call. Until we speak again. May you have the courage to be who you are and to know on a deep level that you're awesome.
