A short spoken message by Dr. Aziz offering encouragement during life transitions (breakups, endings, or other challenging seasons). He emphasizes that difficult periods can vary in length, that growth occurs during hardship, and that the most important immediate strategy is to "hold on" and keep returning to the mindset that you will get through the moment.

After a breakup or after an ending or after a transition, that could be a season in your life and it could last weeks or months. We even have smaller seasons, like a season that can last a weekend or your kind of rhythms throughout the day. Maybe for a couple hours, you're really tired or down, or a couple days or a week or something. So when that's happening and you're in a season, no matter how long it is, where you feel like, I can't do this, this is overwhelming. And maybe you get sucked down under, you feel really negative or depressed or anxious or overwhelmed. Remember this. Hold on. That's the main thing you gotta do is hold on. Yes, you're growing. Yes, you can read things. Yes, you can try new practices or habits or self care or therapies or this group or anything. Yes, you can do all that stuff. But the most important thing when you're really struggling, when things are really hard, is just to hold on as best as you can. Keep coming right back into like, I'm getting through this moment and things will get better, hold on. Because they will get better. And then you'll look back and you'll see there's actually great benefit in this time of challenge. Because no doubt, when there's a lot coming your way in life, there's a lot of growth, even if you don't see it quite yet.
