Hey, Dr. Aziz here and welcome to another two minute confidence boost. So this is going to be useful for you. If you're stuck in procrastination. You're avoiding that thing, that big project, probably out of fear or overwhelm or some sort of lack of confidence that gets in the way. We all know it, we've all been there. I am actually there right now. I got a big project I'm working on called Confidence University. I recorded about two thirds of it. A lot of planning, a lot of need to figure stuff out, little details, which is not my strong point. And then tons of output, tons of recording. I recorded a big chunk of it and then I took about three weeks off for a live event. I had to plan for that and focus on that. And now it's coming back to that project. And yesterday, mmm, Procrastination City. I was on Facebook, I was, I don't even know what, dinking around on email, watching some clips on YouTube. And it's the next morning and I noticed that same urge arising again. And if you've been there, here's how we're going to shift that. I took a minute talking, so I'm not going to show you in just a minute exactly how to do it. Ready? Step one is to stand up and then you could just do it on the ground. I happen to have actually a mini trampoline right here. Then it's to jump up and down. If you don't have a trampoline, you can just jump up and down like this. Okay? Jumping up and down, moving your body, taking full, deep breaths in. That's step two. Ready? And then step three is to knock it up a notch. And that's to use your body, use your energy, use your voice like this.
Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.
Say it with me. Say the word yes.
Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.
And if you want to put on some music as you do this, to energize you, even better.
Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. I got this, I got this. Yes, yes, yes.
Good. Now that's two minutes. But if you want to keep it going, I'm going to show you one extra super secret bonus that I do. So. So you're jumping, you're breathing, you can feel the energy going in your body. You're saying yes. That gets things going. Then if you want to give yourself a little pep talk, if you want to give yourself some guidance, some optimal coaching, say what you need to hear. Ready? Here we go. It's going to look like something like this for me, I'm just doing it without a trampoline in case you don't have one. Most people don't in their office unless they're prepared. Here we go.
Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. I got this. I'm an exceptional communicator. I got this.
Let's go. Look, it's simple. Just tell them what they need to do. You got this figured out? You've been teaching this stuff for over a decade.
You got this.
Let's go. It's simple. It's just a B and C. A.
B and C. Simplify it.
Sit down, map it out in 10 minutes. Sit down, map it out and record it. Sit down, map it out, record.
You got this. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. I am unstoppable. I am unstoppable. I am unstoppable. I am unstoppable. I destroy this project. I'm gonna rip this project open, get it done today. Yes, yes, yes.
And then you sit down very properly and begin to work on the project. Or write out that email.
No.
Then, when you're energized, you're full of power and intensity. Start writing, start mapping it out. If you have so much energy you don't want to sit down, get out your phone. Start working on your phone. Do whatever you need to do to get into action. Now use that energy and go crush it. And the more full out, the more crazy you can get with your voice and with your body, with your energy, with your intensity. The more you're going to get done, the faster you're going to break through and eliminate that pattern of fear, of inertia, of doubt. So get out there, take some awesome action, and let me know how this works. I'll talk to you soon. Bye.
