How To Strengthen Your BOLDNESS MUSCLE!

A short YouTube talk by Dr. Aziz arguing that boldness functions like a muscle: it strengthens with repeated practice and small, progressively bolder actions. The speaker uses a physical-fitness metaphor (gym, parking farther, taking stairs) then gives practical guidance — seek small opportunities, ask “How could I be 3% more bold today?”, take micro-bold actions (speak up, ask someone out, bring up difficult conversations), and note that repeated behavior shifts identity (“I’m a bold person”). The video ends with a call to share plans in comments and an encouraging close.

So how shredded, how ripped is your boldness muscle? It's a question I have for you. You know, we might not think of boldness as a muscle, but it is. Let's take a metaphor of physical strength and building that, you know, we all know that if we want to get in better shape, that happens when we use our body. So when someone is like, I should go to the gym, but I don't want to, I should go run, but I don't feel like it's so hard, they're not going to be in that greatest shape. When someone gets in good shape, what comes is like, they're like, you know what? I want to do this. I want to get to the gym. I want to get out and run. And if I can't, then it kind of bothers me. And then they go beyond that. They're looking for opportunities. So they, you know, they park further away and then walk to the store or whatever instead of parking right in front, they take the stairs instead of the elevator. It's not just, like, I did my workout for the day, now I'm gonna be as lazy as possible. They're looking for opportunities to use their body. Makes sense, right? Maybe you're in that phase right now. Maybe you're out of that phase right now. And as a side effect of this video, it'll kick you into that and your physical health. But this is about your boldness muscle, which works exactly in the same way. So you are regularly practicing boldness. That means there is something that you're hesitant around that party wants to avoid that might seem uncomfortable. You're not sure about the outcome. Is it gonna go the way that I want? Are they going to like me or not? Are they going to say yes or no? It'd be so terrible if they said no. All of that noise, you just cut through it and you're like, bold action, baby. Let's go. And you take that bold action. You ask that person out. You message them on the dating app. You share in the meeting. You go to your supervisor and say, hey, here's this thing that's not working, and I want to change it. You bring up that conversation that you're scared to talk about, whatever it is. And you can start small if you want. Just like with the gym, you know, you don't have to go to the gym and try to bench £500. Just, you know, take the bar bench that if you haven't done it in a long time or ever, you know, start to get familiar with the motions. It's the same thing with your boldness muscle doesn't have to be huge. How can I be. Here's a great question to ask yourself. How could I be 3% more bold today? Or another one would be like, what's one small bold action I could take today? And you might know in the morning and you might discover it throughout the day, but you just throw yourself into it and you take that action again and again and again and again. And then you're looking for those opportunities throughout the day. And then all of a sudden when there's a situation that arises like, oh, I can speak up here. All of a sudden you're like, I've been training for this. I'm ready, let's go. And then you take action. And then what does that do? That builds your boldness muscle even more. Because you see, wow, this applies to every area of my life and I can access it on command. And then it starts to shift your identity. I'm a bold person. I'm the kind of person who does speak up. Why? Well, look at my last couple weeks, couple months. That's what I do. So your identity is based upon, you know, a lot of things, but partially it's just your recent behavior. And so if you take a look at how you've been operating recently, you'll start to say, yeah, that's the kind of person that I am. So what kind of person are you? Share down in the comments below. How are you going to build your boldest muscle? What are you learning from this video? All grow together and until we speak again, may have the courage to be who you are and to know on a deep level that you're awesome. Talk to you soon.
