Dr. Aziz delivers a short, direct message to viewers struggling with self-criticism and anxiety: the fear and self-judgment many feel are not their fault. He shares a personal note that he once believed something was "terribly wrong" with himself, reframes that belief as misplaced, and encourages easing up through self-compassion and taking risks; he also points viewers to other videos on his channel for further help.

You know, if you're hard on yourself, if you feel down. A lot of people that I work with struggle a lot with self criticism, self judgment, and then they learn about confidence or being on your own side, and then they criticize and attack themselves for not being on their own sides. And if that's you, then I have a clear message I want to share in this video, which is, dude, it's not your fault. The fear that you have, the anxiety, maybe you're nervous to talk to people. Whatever happened in the past, whatever is creating that, it's not your fault. It's not like there's something horribly wrong with you. That's what I believe for many years about myself. There's something terribly wrong with me. And it's none of that. It's not your fault. And you can do something to shift it. And of course, there's tons of videos on this channel, and I hope you watch as many of them that will support you. But just know from my story, I can say with absolute certainty you can shift this, just like I have. And it starts by easing up on yourself by finding more love and bringing more compassion to who you are and then taking the risks out there in the world.
