A short spoken advice segment by Dr. Aziz guiding listeners to measure and improve confidence by choosing a specific life area (e.g., social conversation or speaking up at work), rating themselves on a 1–10 scale, taking small actions over days, and re-rating to track improvement. The piece emphasizes focused, actionable practice rather than passive consumption (e.g., only watching videos).

How confident are you really? Let's find out. Most people, they say they're working on it when it comes to building their confidence. And what does that mean? I don't know. I watched a video and then I thought about it, which is not bad, but it's not really changing anything. So what you need to do is you need to look at a specific area, like social conversation, you know, like social interaction or conversations at work or speaking up in meeting, and then you give yourself a number. In fact, do that right now. Pick an area of your life and give yourself a number. From 1 to 10 or 10 is like, yeah, I'm crushing it. Super confident there. And one is like, oh God, I avoid everything there. So give yourself a number right now and then do something in that area today and tomorrow over the next few days and give yourself a rating again. And you will see an improvement simply by focusing on that area, bringing some energy, intention into action, and that number will improve. That is how we really work on it.
