What do you think is the secret ingredient to unstoppable confidence? And that word is important. In fact, I even have it on my wrist. I wear this thing 24 7. It's a little wristband from a mastermind program that I run. It's called the Unstoppable Confidence Mastermind. The word unstoppable has a lot of juice for me, a lot of meaning. So what is the thing that acts as unstoppable confidence? What's your guess? We'll see. I'll share it with you. Now, it is to embrace discomfort. To embrace discomfort. And that's important because you've probably heard of the concept of the comfort zone, right? And the comfort zone is what's familiar to you, which you've done a lot before. What is not too taxing or demanding. Mentally, physically, emotionally, relationally. In order to create something new in your life, you have to step into the unknown. Maybe you've never had a certain kind of relationship before. Maybe you've never started your own company. Maybe you've never spoken up in a certain way. Maybe you've never had a certain level of realness or authenticity with anyone in your life. Friends, family, dating, relationships, work. And you want to go to that next level. You want to be less nice and more you, more real. All of that is stepping into the unknown. And stepping into the unknown is outside of your comfort zone. And if you are going outside of your comfort zone, what does that automatically mean? You will experience uncomfort. Not comfort, discomfort, Right? Comfort is now gone, and you're experiencing some sort of unpleasant sensations. Anxiety, stress, uncertainty, rejection, loss, embarrassment. Ooh, yum. Doesn't that sound great? You might hear that list and you're like, no, no, thank you. I don't want that. Right? So here's the thing. You must experience this. Now. It's not some suffer fest, right? Because when you take those positive risks, it can go well too. So you can have someone Respond positively. You could have a new friend. You could have a new lady friend or guy friend of that sort. You might have new success in your career or earn more money or grow. So it could be all these positive things, but you're also going to get these uncomfortable things. And do you know what you're going to get? No. So you got to be willing. And that's where the other part of this. It's not just experience discomfort to get unstoppable confidence. It's embrace discomfort. Because if it doesn't go the way that you want, which it inevitably will not every time. And then the discomfort happens, and you're like, oh, man. They said, no, this is terrible. I'm never going to get it. It's awful. I hate myself. I hate them. Like, that is so much turbulence, and that is going to slow you down so much, and you're going to run out of steam and momentum, and you're just going to go back into that settle zone, the gray zone of the comfort, easy. And that's why we've got to embrace the discomfort. So when the discomfort comes, which it will, what do you do? Bring it on. Let's go. Here we go.
