Here's a harsh truth about confidence that you have to know. Because if you don't know this, you're going to be like most people in the world who will never truly have deep self confidence. Their confidence will be extremely temporary. Maybe they get a few good things that happen in their life and then they feel confident for a couple weeks or a month and then they spend most of their lives feeling not very confident deep down about themselves. And it's because confidence is not some automatic thing that you are guaranteed to have in your life. It's something that you must earn. It's like being in good shape. You have to earn that through effort over time. And confidence is no different. You can't just put a sticky note note on your mirror that says I'm great or I love myself and get confidence. Just say I'm fit and be fit. You have to practice that. Confidence is no different. It's a muscle and it's built through taking bold action that scares you from challenging the voice in your head that says that you can't and say I don't know, let's see what happens. And from putting yourself out there and creating real connections with other people as you are taking the risk to be real instead of hiding in self doubt and fear.
