Short motivational video by Dr. Aziz explaining that believing and repeating the thought “I’m boring” produces disengaging behaviour that signals low self-worth to others. The speaker argues this self-perception becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy and that genuine interest in what you share makes you interesting.

If you're afraid that you're boring, I'm so glad you're watching this video because I have a secret to tell you about what actually makes you boring to others. No, it's not that you don't have the best stories or not the most articulate, polished person. It's actually a fundamental repeating belief that you tell yourself that you're boring. The more you tell yourself and believe I'm boring, people aren't interested in me. You will act in ways. Make that so. You will share in ways that are very downplaying and disengaging and basically giving a signal to people that says, I don't listen to me. I'm not really worth paying attention to. And lo and behold, people kind of look elsewhere and think, well, maybe this person's not that interesting. And you say, you see? You see? I knew it. I knew it. I'm not interesting. You reinforce the whole story, and you stay in the cage. You got to break that and see the truth, which is that if you are interested in what you're sharing, you are interesting.
