Top 3 Social Anxiety Tips for Confidence Tip number one rejection is not fatal. When you have social anxiety, you're afraid that if someone says no to you or doesn't like you, just want to talk to you, it is overwhelming. You're going to die. And the only way to free yourself from that is to actually go interact with people, get rejected and realize you can make it to the other side. Tip number two is you have to turn off that inner critic. That's what makes rejection so painful in the first place, is the way you talk to yourself and the way that you treat yourself, which is a whole propaganda campaign that you have against yourself to keep you guarded and defended from life. Tip number three Social anxiety is not who you are. It's not in your DNA. It's not how you have to live out your life. It is actually just a pattern that you've learned through avoiding what scares you. And if you lean into what scares you, step into taking the actions that you would take if you were more confident and free. Over time your self concept will catch up and you realize, of course I have ton to offer. You'll have more friends, more connections and more of a life than you could ever have imagined possible for yourself.
