Do you feel unstoppable right now? Perhaps not. Maybe you feel anxious. I know it's extremely common and they don't have to be two separate things. You can feel anxious and still be unstoppable. Let's talk about that today. I'm Dr. Zies. I'm the author of four best selling books about confidence. And something that I've been obsessed with over the last 17 years is how to become confident. At first, just I want to be confident to date. But then it became how do I become confident talking to people? How do I. How do I become confident talking in front of groups? How do I become confident running a business? How do I become confident as a leader? And ultimately became how do I become confident no matter what and reach the highest levels of confidence? And a term that really means a lot to me, and I hope it will mean a lot to you by the end of this short video is the term unstoppable. So here's a little bit of swag that we give out for people that are in my. I have a mastermind program called the Unstoppable Confidence Mastermind. And this says I am bold, relentless, determined, unstoppable. It's a little water bottle we give people and then we have a wristband that we can wear. It says probably can't see the whole thing. Let me stretch it out. Been working out for this moment. It says unstoppable. You can see that. So unstoppable, what does that mean to me? Well, what does it mean to you? Unstoppable in its simplest form, unstoppable confidence. And being unstoppable means we do not stop. I mean, we start with the basics here you thought it might be more complex than that, but let's just keep it at its most simple form. Unstoppable means you don't stop. And so what does that lead to in your life if you do not stop? Because that's what I found is the biggest problem with our reaching our goals in life or becoming who we want to be, or carrying out the mission that we have, or earning the kind of money that we have, or providing for our families in the way that we want, or having the relationships that we want, or contributing or making an impact in the world at the level that we want. The only thing that gets in the way is us stopping. And usually we have a story that says, well, I couldn't because of that, because of this, because of circumstance, because of other people, because of the environment, because some flaw or lacking in me. But for some reason, I couldn't do it. And then deep down, we're not satisfied, though, because we know that reason is bs. It's a belief system. It's a story. It's something that we made up. And it might seem very true. We might have a lot of evidence to support it, but at the end of the day, we can have all our reasons and all our evidence, but inside, we still feel a little empty without that relationship. We still feel a little hollow not having contributed. We still feel scared because we haven't earned the money that we want. So we have our story, but that doesn't give us the success that we want. In order to create that, we must be unstoppable. Unstoppable. And so unstoppable confidence applies to, let's say you're growing in your dating life and you want to approach people and you get a rejection, you don't stop. You don't say, well, that person rejected me. I guess I'll never date again, right? In your career, you experience a setback, you get laid off, you don't stop. And so I like the idea of bringing unstoppable, even amidst what's happening with the coronavirus, because there's a lot of fear that's unfolding, and there's sort of the short term fear and then the long term fear of the unknown. So the short term fear is like, oh, my gosh, how's this all gonna play out? What's the effect gonna be on my health or the health of people that I love? How am I gonna get through these next. Whatever, weeks, months? But then there's the greater fear of, like, what's this gonna mean for business, for my business, for my company, for my job, for my finances, for the economy, for the world, you know, and we start to get more and more afraid. And so how do we bring unstoppable confidence to that? Well, I'd say, what if you truly adopt the identity of, I am unstoppable. I am bold, I am determined, I am relentless. I am unstoppable. Come on, just say that. I know it's. Humor me for just a moment, and why don't you say that with me? So I'd like you to repeat this one. Say it. If you're watching this and you got earbuds in or something and people are around, just say in your mind, okay, but if you got. If you're alone in your room or your place where people around you don't care and you don't care, then say it. Out loud with me. Okay, ready? Here we go. I am bold. I am relentless. I am determined. I am unstoppable. Can you feel that? What if you repeated that, like, 20 times in a row? Now, I'm not gonna make you do that right now. You can do that on your own time. But I am bold. I am determined. I am relentless. I am unstoppable. I am bold. I am determined. I am relentless. I am unstoppable. You start to get yourself into a more powerful place with that. And then when you get in that powerful place, you can say, great. How can I be unstoppable in this situation? And a great way to think about unstoppable is to imagine water. Water flowing through a river. Because sometimes people hear unstoppable when they think it's like Hulk smashing through a wall or something. And maybe sometimes that is unstoppable. That's a part of you that comes out when needed. But more often, it's like water. Water is unstoppable. Water is not punching through any walls, though. It's much more graceful than that. And so when water is flowing and then it hits an obstacle, like, say, a rock, what does it do? It flows around, flows underneath it. It flows over it. It's like, you can't stop me, baby. I'm unstoppable. So how can you be that way? So what are your main concerns right now? About the coronavirus, about the economy, about your finances? How do you bring confidence to that? How do you bring unstoppable confidence? Is you internalize that you will not be stopped. And here's the thing that I love about this philosophy is because there's a lot of stuff out there in personal development and spiritual development, stuff like that, that's like we're trying to get away from something. I don't want to be anxious anymore. I don't want to be scared. So I'm going to see it this way. I'm going to pretend it's that way and think about it that way. I don't want to go there. And unstoppable is like, I don't give a shit which way you go. Be anxious and be unstoppable. Do it scared. You know, you're doubting yourself, and you do it anyway. You're unstoppable. You're sad or you're tired, and you do it. You're unstoppable. Right? I mean, that's where the power of discipline comes in. Have you ever worked out when you were tired? Then you are unstoppable Right. So you don't let the circumstances, the temporary feelings stop you. It doesn't mean. So you could be. It's like, well, I couldn't take action because I was anxious or I'm anxious and I'm going to take action anyway because I'm freaking unstoppable. So you want to bring that energy into whatever problem or challenge you're facing right now. So maybe you're facing something like, am I going to get laid off? Or maybe like, I'm running my own business and I don't know if I want to make sales or make money during this time. It's great. How are you going to be unstoppable no matter what? What are you going to do? Like water to flow over every obstacle. And here's the thing, you might be uncomfortable and unstoppable. So many of us are afraid. Not of the end of something or the death of something or the loss of something. We're most afraid of the discomfort. I'm afraid of the, ah, it's going to be so uncomfortable if that happens. Ah, right. Because here's the thing. Everything you can navigate, it's just discomfort. Even those scary, really challenging things, moments of discomfort. And if you show up to them and say, you know what? I will not be stopped. I'm going to find a way through this, I'm going to navigate this, I'm going to get creative. And you want to take it one step further. It's like, how am I going to overrun this obstacle? What am I going to do differently? How can I adapt? How can I innovate? How can I create what's needed right now? Because in times of crisis and things falling apart, that's when new things emerge. That's when new industries emerge, that's when new leaders emerge, that's when new companies emerge. That's when you might emerge in a much more powerful way, especially if you take on this identity. And so you might not even have a solution to some of the problems or challenges that you're facing right now as you watch this. But if you take the time to internalize this mindset of I am unstoppable, you will find solutions, you will uncover them. And because it's inevitable that the water will flow around that rock, it just takes time. Just as a matter of finding its way, I will flow through this, around this, under this, over this. I am unstoppable. So let's bring this to whatever's happening in your life in the community, global. Like, we will get through this. We are unstoppable. That's the next level. Even more powerful than I am unstoppable is an identity of we are unstoppable. In the mastermind, one of our community areas, which is a Facebook group, it says at the top, we are unstoppable. Because I want to internalize that for everyone there. We are unstoppable. If you believe that were true, what would you do today? How would you interact with today? With other people? What would you share? What would you create? Now go out and do those things, because the truth is, you are unstoppable. I am unstoppable. We are unstoppable. Let's go out there and show the world that you are. Until we speak again, May I have the courage to be who you are and to know on a deep level that you are unstoppable and awesome. I'll talk to you soon.
