Are you scared to speak up at work, in meetings and groups? You know, often we look at that risk and we say, ooh, something bad can happen. I don't want to do that. But do you ever look at the cost of not taking the risk? Often we're so focused on the short term potential discomfort that we don't look at the long term results of not taking that risk of hesitating, of holding back again and again and again. When I talk with clients about this, this is kind of like compounding interest on a credit card or something. It builds up over time. You don't quite notice it, and all of a sudden you look at it one day and you're like, oh, my God, this is what I o. And only in this case, it's actually something you can't repay. You look at it, you say, wow, I missed on how many years of my life? For me personally, it was a decade. And then I started to wake up. Some people I talked to, it's 20 years, 30 years, 40 years. Wherever you are, there's an opportunity now to wake up and remember that now is the only opportunity to shift this. Otherwise, another week, another month, another year is going to go by, and that gives you the fuel to take the leap.
