Dr. Aziz teaches a four-word phrase, "I'm not for everybody," to help you stop fearing judgment and act authentically. Accepting that not everyone will like you frees you to speak up, ask for what you want, and build real relationships without losing the ability to grow.

If you're afraid of being judged and it's stopping you from being who you want to be in the world. Speaking up, asking, sharing, creating connections and relationships. There's one powerful, profound phrase that will change everything for you, as it did for me and many clients that I've worked with. And it's just four words. I'm not for everybody. What that means is, yeah, you're not for everybody. So someone might not like you. Someone might not want to spend time with you. Someone might not want to be your friend. And when we first have that experience or even think that it might happen, well, oh, no, I feel so bad about myself. Someone is one of my friends. Must be awful. But wait a minute. I'm not for everybody. Someone's like, I don't like the way you did that talk. Or I think that could have been this way. You should have done that. I'm not for everybody. And that doesn't mean that you never take any feedback and you only stick to your guns. Maybe you do change and update, but you realize that no matter how you grow, no matter how you show up, not everybody's gonna like everything. And that's okay, because you're not for.
