Hey guys. Gordon here, Director, QBRI Cody Ventures Research Institute. I am on moonlight beach in Encinitas, California and I just broke the law because I am loitering right now. Can't stand in one place, can't put your towel down, can't throw a football. Gotta keep moving. And as of today, I'm required by law to wear a mask when I'm within six feet of people. The world has changed a little bit. So this new post Covid world, what have we done about it? Well, for the last three Wednesdays, Wednesday nights, we built a little presentation called survive and thrive through 2025 live. And said, you know what, what's my perspective? Been through many recessions, seen a lot of different things in the real estate and note space. What's my perspective on this whole thing? So we said, you know, let's upgrade it every week. What's changed this week that I could put it in our next presentation? And I said, you know what about half? I wrote an article this week about many of the major corporations in America finance real estate. Other ones are cutting their staffs by half. Half salaries. The top guys cut in half. And these are people that are looking at this next reality and saying, hey, what's the reality? You've all heard the story about the glass being half full or half empty. You know, I'm gonna make May a great month. April really wasn't. So my glass is gonna be half full in May. I lost some sleep and I had some anxiety about this whole thing, this crazy new freaking world we're living in. But I said, okay, half. Maybe that's the new normal. Maybe that's the new post AC after Covid normal planes ever hate that midd well, guess what, it's not available anymore. It's gonna be half full. Stores half full, restaurants half full. By the way, things might take twice as long as. Well, you got half and twice as long. What kind of economy might we be looking at if this virus is gonna stick around with us for a while like it sounds like it is? What kind of environment is that gonna be?
