6 Reasons You're Still Invisible Online

In this motivational coaching video, Hui Hui Lek addresses why talented coaches remain unseen online despite their expertise. She identifies six "invisibility traps" that sabotage visibility: (1) Perfectionism, which masks fear and stalls action; (2) Inconsistency, which erodes trust and authority; (3) Comparison, which fuels self‑sabotage and joy theft; (4) Incongruency, the belief you must be fully mastered before teaching, leading to missed opportunities; (5) Pleaser syndrome, where seeking approval dilutes leadership; and (6) Pride, which prevents asking for help and slows implementation. For each trap she explains the underlying mindset, illustrates it with personal anecdotes, and offers a concise counter‑statement (e.g., "Done over perfect"). She then urges viewers to declare the opposite of their dominant trap, commit to one concrete action, and leverage free resources—a High‑Ticket Coaching Blueprint ebook and a 5‑day challenge—to accelerate a high‑ticket coaching business toward six‑ and seven‑figure revenue. The video ends with a call to subscribe, comment, and follow a playlist that breaks down step‑by‑step business growth.

If you're genuinely brilliant at what you do, but somehow nobody knows that you exist, listen closely because this might sting a little. It's not the algorithm. It's not bad luck. It's not about your timing. It's one of 6 traps. And right now you're probably sitting on at least 2 of them without even realizing it. Hey, my name is Hui Hui Lek, and I've worked with over 6,000 coaches in my challenges and events. And over 500 in my premium programs, and I've watched this exact same 6 traps quietly keep good talented people invisible year after year. So I'm gonna name all 6 of them to you, no fluff, very fast, so that you can see where it's holding you trapped and you'll be able to get out of the trap and into visibility this year. The 6th one, pay attention because the 6th one is the deadliest one and is the one that almost nobody nobody will admit to. So let's start. Trap number 1, perfectionism. It sounds responsible. I want to be able to put something good out there, something that is perfect. But the thing is, it sounds like it is not good enough yet. I'm not ready. I just need to learn one more thing. That's not high standards. If these are the words that's going on in your mind, then it is basically fear that's being disguised as perfectionism. And it often is costing you the one thing that you can never earn back, time. And here's what perfectionists always miss. Confidence doesn't come before action. Action brings about confidence and clarity. And every week that you wait, you get less confident, not more. Trap number 2, inconsistency. You show up for a week full of fire, then you vanish, and then you reappear a month later like nothing happened. Whether it's on social media, whether it is in front of your potential clients, or maybe it's in front of your community, and Every time you disappear, the trust meter goes down and resets to zero again, quietly. And while people are watching, they're not telling you about it. So we're living in a trust recession right now. And when you are inconsistent, you are not just being quiet, you are actively teaching people that they cannot count on you. So write this down: without trust, there is no authority, and without authority, there is no business. In the age of AI, you need to become the authority so that you can stand out amongst the rest. A leader does not show up when they feel like it. A leader shows up based on the result that they're committed to. Show up like a leader, especially on days when you don't feel like it. Now let's get to trap number 3, is comparison. And this, probably heard before, is the thief of joy. You open your phone, you see someone on social media who's further ahead of you, and you quietly shrink. And after that, you stop posting because you think this person is already better than me, is already offering something similar to me. Why do I even need to show up? So comparison is self-sabotage. And I know this one personally, very, very close to me, because in my second year, I was sitting in a room filled with people. And I know this one personally because in 2023, in my second year of running my coaching business, I sat in a room which is the Top 10 Affiliate Mastermind with Dean Graziosi and other top affiliates in the world. People like Pace Morby, who's making $100 million a year, and then there are other coaches and experts as well who are making $50 million, who have made $60 million, who are making $1 million a month. Oh boy, I feel the imposter and the comparison inside that room. And what did I learn? I learned that if I had compared myself to them, then I would have walked out and never opened my mouth inside that mastermind. But I realized that they are at chapter 20. I am only at chapter 2. I can never compare my chapter 2 to that chapter 20. Keep your eyes on your your own race and enjoy your journey. Don't compare your journey to other people. Trap number 4, incongruency. And this is huge. This is the belief that you cannot teach something until you have completely mastered it. And meanwhile, someone far less qualified than you who's just started quietly take the clients that were meant for you. And you do not need to be 100 steps ahead. You only need to be a few steps ahead of the person that you're helping. This is enough. And in fact, your first couple of years, when you are the underdog, people will cheer you on every step of the way. So when it comes to incongruency, remember this one thing: show up as yourself. People do not need the perfect version of you. People just need that authentic version of you. Tell your story, share your journey. Let them know that you are a person who makes mistakes as well, and you're willing to admit it. And when you openly share your journey and you are transparent and you're authentic, people will love you even more compared to other people who are inauthentic, who have to be the perfect version of them online. Nobody can resonate with a perfect version. So be congruent, be your true self, and share your journey. Trap number 5, pleaser. And this is when you place other people's opinions above your own. And you cannot lead from there if you're a pleaser. Basically, you can't be a good coach if you're a pleaser because you water yourself down so that everyone will love you, and you are looking more for likes and acceptance, helping your clients get results, because you soften and re-edge. You end up being bland, safe, and completely forgettable if you're just a pleaser. And you cannot be the authority if you let everyone else's opinions become louder than yours. If you want to be a great coach, then you cannot be a pleaser anymore. Sometimes you've got to learn to challenge your clients, to practice tough love. You've got to hold them accountable so that they can get results. That means that you cannot please, you have to lead. Place your hand on your heart and repeat after me. I am a leader. I lead and not please. Awesome. Very nice. Before I give you the 6th and the most dangerous trap, we've got free resources that I want to be able to give you. Now let's get back to trap number 6. This is the biggest and the most dangerous of all, and the one that almost nobody will want to admit to because Admitting it is already the trap. And the 6th one is pride. Pride says that I already know this. I do not need help. I can figure this out on my own. So you consume everything and you implement nothing. You avoid raising your hand because asking for help feels like a weakness. It's not weakness. In fact, the people who ask for help the fastest in our community are the ones who get the biggest results. The most successful people that I know, they never hesitate to ask questions every single time. So repeat after me, the coaches with the fastest results are the ones who are the most coachable because when they ask questions, they get clarity. And when you have clarity, you can move fast. And when you move fast, you're able to get results fast. Speed of implementation. So drop the pride, raise your hand, and ask questions fast. So there you go, the 6 invisibility traps Perfectionism, inconsistency, comparison, incongruency, and the pleaser. And here's what I want you to do right now, not later, because later is another trap in disguise. Procrastination is part of perfectionism as well, okay? Pick the one that is hitting you the hardest right now, and once you realize it, name it out loud and then make a declaration against it. I choose done over perfect. I choose consistent over comfort. I choose greatness over approval. Whatever your trap is, declare the opposite and then commit to taking one action on it so that you can now overcome that trap and you can become more visible in this year onwards. So you were never invisible because you have lacked talent. You were invisible because you allowed yourself to fall into one of these traps. Name it, break it, and from now on, be committed to no longer fall into these traps. And if you want the exact steps to build the business that you deserve, then I've got a playlist in this channel.
