Hui Hui launched a coaching business two days before her father was hospitalized. She wrote her first program while caring for him in the hospital, and it generated her first million dollars. She treats the crisis as a test of her commitment to the work.
Every time you decide to commit to something, life will come and test you. Life will come and ask you, on a scale of one to ten, how badly do you want this? The reason why you can't is the exact reason why you must. There's such a thing called a hero's test. On the second day after I decided to go all in on my coaching business, my dad was hospitalized at seven a.m. My mom called me and she said, "Hui Hui, it's not looking good." For the next 30 days, I spent time in a hospital with my dad. My dad went from someone who is very, very strong, very muscular, to becoming very thin. At that moment, I asked myself, do I still want to do this? I don't know what's going to happen to my dad, but I want to make sure that I show him that I can do this, I can make it, and that even if my retail business was wiped out by COVID, I can rebuild myself. I can make a comeback. And so at that time, I told myself, I want this. On a scale of 1 to 10, it's a 10 for me. No, you know, it's not just a 10, it's, it's 100, it's 1,000. I took a photo of myself in the hospital because I told myself that this photo, this photo will be the photo that I'm going to show my audience a few years from now, telling them that I made it. And this photo will be the photo that inspired the heck out of all of my audience, that if I can start from a hospital room, taking care of my dad, starting my coaching business, and still be able to make it, then anyone can do this as well. And so I wrote my very first program. That was the very first program that I wrote that made me my first million dollars. And so I wanna share this with all of you, right? Because I would like all of you to remember this one thing. If life comes and tests you at any point during this journey, life will come and test you in some way or other. And I would like all of you to please remember this. The universe only sends The greatest tests to its greatest soldiers. And if you experience any test, you got to understand this one thing: it is because the universe has meant for you to be one of its greatest soldiers. If you truly want this, then prove it to yourself. Prove it to yourself this year. Say yes first, over and over and over again, even if you feel that you're not ready, even if you feel that you're not there yet. Say yes first. Have the courage to say yes to yourself first. And then trust that the steps will come. Trust that the answers will come. That's how you will be able to see the results in your life.
