If you're a coach or aspiring coach, you're good at what you do, you get incredible results for your clients, but there's this voice in your head that keeps saying, who am I to charge $5,000 or $10,000? Who am I to call myself an expert? And that voice is keeping you stuck or driving you crazy, then I need you to pay close attention. Hey, I'm Kwee Kwee, and over the last 4 years, I've built a $4 million coaching business completely organically. I've worked with over 400 coaches, across 30 countries, and I can tell you that the imposter syndrome isn't just a mindset issue. It's costing you real money. And in my experience, it's costing most coaches about $100,000 per year. And today I'm gonna show you exactly how and what to do about it. So in this video, I'm breaking down the 3 ways that the imposter syndrome is literally taking money out of your pocket and the exact framework I used and that my clients have used as well to transform it from their biggest blocker to becoming their biggest business superpower. By the end of this video, you'll know how to stop paying the Imposter Syndrome tax. So let's dive in. Here's what most coaches don't realize. Every time you undercharge because you think, I'm not good enough, I'm not experienced yet, I'm not ready yet, you're paying the Imposter syndrome tax. So let me tell you about one of my clients. Her name is Gina, and she's a branding coach. When she first came to me, she was charging $500 for her branding services. And when I asked her why, she said exactly what you might be thinking. Hui hui, I'm new, I'm a little shy. Who am I to charge what the big coaches charge, right? Sounds familiar? So here's what I discovered after working with Gina. Her work was incredible. Her clients were getting transformations, and she was spending 40 to 50 hours on each branding package, pouring her heart and soul into it. And the only problem, she didn't believe that she was worth more. So we worked together on packaging her value, understanding the transformation that she's bringing to her clients, and owning her expertise. And you know what? Gina started charging up to $500 for her branding package. And here's the beautiful part— her clients loved it even more. And because when she charged what she was worth, she took even more care to create an amazing value for that investment. She created a really irresistible offer. She showed up differently, and she started owning her expertise. And her clients, they could see the difference. And so let's do the math. $500 to $5,500. That's a $5,000 difference per client. So if Gina signs just 20 clients at $500, that's a total of $10,000. At her new pricing, that's $110,000, which means that it is a $100,000 difference. Can you see that? That is the underpricing tax that she was paying to impostor syndrome. So I want you to think right now, what are you currently charging, and what would you charge if you truly believe that you were worth it? Hey, quick thing before we continue, drop a comment right now. On a scale of 1 to 10, how much does imposter syndrome hold you back? I read every single comment and will reply to yours too. Also, I'm building my content calendar based on your questions, so let me know in the comments what you want me to I'm going to cover next about overcoming fear and building your coaching business to 6 and 7 figures. And if you want first access to my next video, remember to like this video as well and to hit the subscribe bell. Now let's get back to this video. The second way that the imposter syndrome is costing you money is by keeping you invisible. How many times have you written a post or shot a video and then you deleted it because you thought, who cares about what I think anyway? How many times have you been invited to speak on stage stages, to be a podcast guest, to share your expertise, and you said no because you didn't feel that you're ready yet. Every time you hide, you're paying the invisibility tax. So let me share with you my story. A couple of years ago, I was invited to speak on the Success Resources stage. So if you don't know Success Resources, they bring in speakers like Tony Robbins, Gary Vaynerchuk, Robert Kiyosaki, Brian Tracy, huge names. And here I was, being invited to share the stage. I was going to be speaking in front of hundreds of people in Singapore in person, and then even more virtually. So my imposter syndrome, it just went crazy, drove me nuts. Saying that you're too introverted, hui hui, you're too new, you're only in your second year in your coaching business, they're going to see right through you. Who are you to be on stage with those big names like Robert Kiyosaki, T. Harv Eker? I almost I just said no. And then I remembered something. Your desire, it must be greater than your fears. And you know what happened after that? A few months later, I was then invited by Dean Graziosi to be on stage with him and Tony Robbins and in front of 800,000 people in Arizona, Scottsdale. And so even though my imposter syndrome was just shouting at me, I said yes anyway. So I gave myself permission to be bad before I get good. I said yes to both stages. I I showed up, I told my story, I shared my Mission and Movement Framework at the Success Resources stage. And guess what? From that one event at the Success Resources, I got 3 sales at $5,000 each. And that's $15,000 from 1 hour of being in that room despite of fear because I chose to be visible. Now imagine if I said no. That's $15,000 paid directly to imposter syndrome. And that's not even counting the connections I made, the people who joined my email list, the clients that I've signed since then who found me because of that stage. And then the level of visibility I got because I started speaking on stage with big names like Robert Kiyosaki, Brian Tracy, Tony Robbins, Dean Graziosi, Trent Shelton, Barry Bob Gartner. And you know what? Here's what I found after working with over 400 coaches. The ones who are making 6 figures consistently, they're not more qualified than you. They are not more experienced than you, and they are not even better coaches than you. And I'm not trying to put them down. This is what I observe. They're just more visible because they decided to stop hiding, not because they are egoistic and flashy and want to be on stages, but because they now understand that they've got an important message to share, and not sharing that message is selfish, to hide what they know. The third tax is actually the biggest one and is the one that most coaches don't even realize that they are paying. It's the opportunity tax. The clients that you don't sign, the programs that you don't launch, the movement that you don't build, all because imposter syndrome is convincing you to play small. And let me share something vulnerable with you. When I first hit my $100K, my mentor told me that, "Hui Hui, you're ready for a high-ticket program. You should create something at $25,000." And my immediate thought, that's insane. Who would pay me $25,000? I've only been doing this for 6 months. There are coaches who are doing way more than me for longer than me for 10 years who don't charge that much. But here's what changed everything for me. I realized that imposter syndrome wasn't protecting me. In fact, it was stealing from me. Most importantly, it was stealing from the clients who needed the level of transformation that I could provide at that level of support. So the thing is this, your desire, it must absolutely be greater than your fears. So I created my Platinum program that teaches my clients how to get to the first 6 figures in their coaching business, and the investment is $25,000. And you know what? 17 clients said yes to the program in the first year. So let me do the math for you. $25,000 times times 17 clients equals to $425,000. $425,000 that I would never have made if I listened to the imposter syndrome. And here's what even more beautiful. Those 17 clients, they got amazing results. They're making 6 figures. They're building movements. They went on to become authors. They speaking on international stages. They're changing lives. And at the same time, they transformed their own lives as well. So if I had played small, they would have stayed stuck. And that's what the opportunity tax really costs, not just your money, but the impact that you're meant to have. Quick thing, if you're still with me at this point, you're clearly serious about overcoming the imposter syndrome and building the coaching business that you deserve. And that means everything to me. So let me know in the comments, out of these 3 taxes, the underpricing, the invisibility, and the lost opportunities, which one is hitting you the hardest right now? Drop 1, 2, or 3 below in the comments. And if you want me to go deeper on any of these topics, just let me know and I'll add it to my production calendar. Now here's what I would like you to understand. The imposter syndrome isn't something that you need to cure or get over. In fact, as you grow, the imposter syndrome is going to accompany you most of the time because the imposter is actually a measurement of growth. Let me explain. You only feel like an imposter when you're doing something new, something that stretches you, something that matters to you. The fact that you feel it, it means that you're growing. It means that you're on the right path, and that's good. Think about Gina. When she was charging $500, did she have imposter? Not really, because $500 felt safe. It was when she considered $5,500 that the imposter started to show up. And that discomfort, that is actually growth calling out to her. So here's the framework that changed my life and the lives of my clients. Instead of asking, who am I to do this? I started asking, who am I not to do this? Because think about it, you've got the expertise, you've got the experience, you have overcome struggles, you have transformed your own life. And somewhere out there, there's someone who's exactly where you were 3 years ago, 5 years ago, struggling with the exact problem that you have now solved. Who are you not to help them? Who are you not to charge what you're worth? Who are you not to build the movement that you're called to build? Because the world needs this next level version of you, not the perfect version, this next version. And when I was standing backstage at the Success Resources event, shaking, doubting myself, I didn't ask, who am I to be here? Who am I not to share what I know with these people who need it? And that reframe It changes everything. Now, I want you to do something with me right now. Close your eyes for a second if you are in a safe place to do so. Imagine yourself back at the time when you had the problem that you now help people solve. You were suffering. You were in pain. Maybe you were worried. Maybe you were frustrated. It was keeping you up at night. What would you give if there was someone who came to you at that moment and said, "I know exactly how you feel. I've been there and I can show you how to get to the other side. Let me guide you through this." Would you feel like they are there to take money from you? Or would you be extremely grateful that your prayers have been answered? That the person that you have been praying for has finally appeared? And that's who you are to your ideal clients. You're not taking from them. You're in fact the answer that they have been praying for. When Gina finally raised her price to $5,500, she wasn't taking advantage of her clients. She was showing up as the answer to their branding struggles. She was the guide that they have been waiting for. When I stepped on that Success Resources stage, I wasn't an impostor. I was the answer for there was someone in that audience who needed to hear exactly what I had to say. When I spoke on the Tony Robbins and Dean Graziosi stage in front of the 800,000 people, I wasn't there because of my ego or because I wanted to speak on that stage. It was because I knew I had a message to share, that being an introvert, you can build the business of your dreams as well. And so when you start charging what you're worth, when you start showing up visible, stepping on stages, even though you feel the impostor, when you start to create that high-ticket offer, you're not being greedy. You're actually being the answer that someone is desperately searching for. So the next time you feel you're the impostor, tell yourself, good, because this means that I'm growing. This means that I'm stretching myself, and this means that my life is going to become even better. So it's good. Right? So your imposter syndrome is just your ego trying to protect you, but it's actually robbing you of the people who need you the most and the beautiful future that you're meant to live. So here's exactly what to do starting today. First, calculate your imposter syndrome tax. Look at what you're currently charging. Now think about what Gina did. She went from $500 to $5,500. What would your version of that look like? And the number that you felt resistance to, that's probably closer to your real value, meaning that the gap between what you charge and what you should charge, multiply that by how many clients you want in a year. And that's what imposter syndrome is costing you. Second, do the reframe exercise that I just walked you through. Write down, who was I when I first had this problem? And what was I struggling with? And what would I have given for someone to guide me and walk me and handhold me through this? Then ask yourself, who am I not to be that person for someone else? Third, imposter is basically unfamiliarity disguised. Pick a hard number, say $5,000, and practice saying out loud 10 times a day, That's how you get familiar with saying that number. So my coaching program is worth $5,000. Repeat that aloud 10 times a day and look at yourself in the mirror as you're saying it and say it excitedly over and over and over again. The more you articulate it out loud, the more familiar it becomes to you. So the next time you get on a sales call, the next time someone asks you about your coaching, you can then confidently say, my program is worth $5,000, and it will just roll out from you naturally. Practice is going to help you get familiar. So fourth, commit to one visible action this week that scares you. So post that thought leadership piece, say yes to that speaking opportunity, raise your hand, reach out to the potential client, Give yourself permission to be bad before you get good. I promise you, just like how I showed up on that stage, even though I was terrified, you can show up too. So take the emotion out of the implementation. You don't need to feel confident in order for you to take action. In fact, you take the action to build the confidence. Gina didn't feel confident charging $5,000 when she first did it. But you know what? After her first client paid it, and got incredible results and thanked her profusely, her confidence soared. And that's because the confidence follows the action, not the other way round. All right, one more thing before you go. I'm running my 5-day course creation challenge starting next week. And on day 3, we're going to do a deep dive specifically on transforming imposter syndrome into your business superpower. We're going to calculate your real value together, just like I did with Gina.
