Jake Setterlun breaks down a personal branding system for industry leaders: spend one hour weekly recording a 20-30 minute video, edit it into 10-15 short clips for social media, and appear on podcasts. You don't need massive follower counts, just consistent content and a web presence.

So from a personal branding perspective, how can professionals position themselves as leaders in the industry? And I'm going to be very honest with everybody, it's not hard. You don't have to have a lot of followers. I think number one is making content. Put an hour down on your calendar every single week to film content. You could probably record a 20 to 30 minute video and clip out 10 to 15 pieces of content from that. Book yourself on podcasts, get PR articles released about you, and have some kind of a presence on You know, a website or some kind of an offering. And that is literally all you need because here's the thing, your Shorts can be posted anywhere, your clips can be posted anywhere. Then you have podcasts, long form. That's gonna be, you know, showing up in your search, but you don't actually have to go out there and make those YouTube videos. You have Shorts and then you have the podcast content. If you're wondering where to get featured on podcasts, there is matchmaker.fm and there's a site called Podmatch. Those are the two that I recommend by far. Super easy to get on podcasts even if you're just starting out.
