The $92K/Month Low Ticket MRR Blueprint: Inside Our Entire Funnel

In this video Jake Setterlun walks through the current low‑ticket subscription (MRR) funnel that generates about $92,000 in monthly recurring revenue. He explains two parallel ad paths – a direct‑to‑school video sales letter (VSL) funnel and a traditional low‑ticket self‑liquidating funnel – detailing pricing ($17 MRR front‑end, $97 and $197 one‑time offers, $27 order bump), upsell flow, and geographic targeting. Jake shares the core financial metrics: roughly $20K/month ad spend on the VSL, CAC $30‑$50 for the school path and $80‑$90 for the traditional funnel, average order value around $65, ROAS 0.5‑0.9, retention 83‑87%, and acquisition volume of 400‑600 new members per month (≈100 per week). He discusses the coaching ascension funnel, noting a 3‑4% conversion from low‑ticket members to high‑ticket coaching (10‑20 sign‑ups per month) and the desire to raise that rate. Retention is highlighted as a key lever, with a goal of 90% to protect revenue from the 4,400 paying members. Finally, Jake outlines scaling plans: building a proprietary platform with AI tools and an AI sales manager, expanding roadmap sessions, and targeting $250K/month MRR, which would require about 5,000 members at an average price point. The tone is conversational and data‑driven, with a realistic yet optimistic outlook on growth.

What's going on everybody? Welcome back. Coming back at you, Mark Builds Berhans Style. Motherfucker's always shirtless. In this video today, I'm going to be breaking down our current school funnel, showing you a little bit behind the scenes in terms of how much money we're spending on ads, what we're getting for signups, that kind of stuff to show you our info/coaching current process. And then tomorrow I I'll break down inbound and show you that. But this is our current funnel on what we are running to sell info on the front end. And when I say info, it's low ticket MRR into higher ticket, quote unquote, higher ticket coaching. So show you this and break this down for you guys really quickly. Let me move some of this out of the way and then we will get going. Get into it. So let's drop in. I'm going to run this right underneath here and show you the first thing that we are running. So we have 2 different types of ads. We have direct to school, and I'll show you these here in a second. And then what we have over here is a I'm going to call this a traditional low-ticket offer, and it's probably more of a self-liquidating offer, but it is set up traditional. So direct to school, it goes to the school landing page. This is going to a VSL purchase page directly from Facebook as of right now. We are breaking in a little bit to Google, TikTok, etc., but we are running Facebook ads. And right now, we are spending— we were spending a little bit more back in— I guess I'll do it for April. But we've cut spend a little bit, we're spending about $20K a month on school, or spending about $20K a month on the VSL. Now, in terms of KPIs for these, actually note these in here, we on average keep people for $17, anywhere from about 3 to 4 months, sometimes a little bit more, sometimes a little bit less. So our AOV, estimated AOV that we are going off of is about $65. Now obviously with school, there is no low ticket, right? If I go into school, if I show you the signup process and the page, there is no upsell. They come in here, they click, they join for $17. We do have upsells in here and we are working on other stuff, but for the most part, Very straightforward. So with our ROAS, we on average will be running anywhere from like a 0.5 to a 0.7 ROAS, which means if it costs $17 or we get $17 back when somebody signs up. Now we do have some annuals, but on average costs us about anywhere from $30 all the way up to $50 to get somebody to sign up. Now lifetime value, of course, we are making money. Now over here, cost is a little bit higher, but because it is a VSL page, we have a $17 product going into— and I can even map that out— we have our $17 product. I'm gonna call this main MRR going into a $97 low ticket or one-time offer. So the proper lingo for this And then we have a $197 one-time offer after that. We do have some downsells, etc. We also have a $27 bump on this. Now our AOV on this is much higher because it's a funnel, because they're structured in upsells, where in school it's really $17 a month. We do have some upsells, but we can't track that in school. So it's really just that. Or I guess the $147 per year on that. So we're not getting as much. We could go for annuals if we wanted, but at this point in time, we are focused on MRR because at the end of the day, I mean, when you're bringing in almost $92,000 of MRR, you know, you can do a lot of things in business that you most, you know, usually would not have the freedom to. And you can redline things a lot more with which obviously is going to, if you use the money properly, gonna lead to more growth. So this is pretty much what this looks like. And our ROAS here really does differ a little bit, but anywhere from a 0.6 to, I would say, like a 0.9, definitely varies week by week. But with this, we're paying about $80 up to $90 to get somebody to buy. But because they are, we're liquidating spend with this, You know, of course we, you know, are more profitable on those actual ads. So this is what this looks like. Now obviously this is feeding our coaching, right? We are retaining. We've had a pretty decent retention. I would say our retention rate has been, just to give you guys some numbers, about 83 to 87% on average has been our retention. Rate, which isn't terrible considering that direct-to-school is currently worldwide. And traditional low ticket is— I'm going to call these tier 1, which is US, UK, EU-ish. I mean, some of the higher income areas, AU, Canada, Australia, I think I mentioned. And then there's some other little ones. Dubai, shit like that. So that's really the structure. Obviously these people have more money. We have tested, you know, both of these out going, but again, on average our retention a little bit low, but a lot of this actually comes down to failed payments. And then of course people, you know, are obviously turning, but what I've noticed is we have a lot of re-signs, which is really cool. So that is about our retention. Now if we want to talk about our coaching, we do not sign up a lot of people on coaching. So total on a monthly basis, we sign up anywhere from 400 to 600 members a month. It's about 100 a week is normally what we are seeing. Again, sometimes it's higher, sometimes it's a little bit lower. And then from a coaching side, so I can call this low ticket members or MRR additions, whatever we want to call that. And then from a coaching perspective, we only sign up about, I would say, 10 to 20 per month, right? So this funnel is obviously, you know, this is something that we've been— do this coaching members. This is pretty flawed, right? Because normally you would want to see this Increase and, and be, you know, quite, quite a lot more, right? You usually wanna see, I would say anywhere from like 3%, 4%. So we sign up about a 3% conversion rate from the low ticket signups. A little bit higher, I would say like 3 to 4% is normally what we're doing. Now, if we open up chat, I am curious. Um, I, I used to know exactly what this is. What is a good low ticket to high ticket ascension rate? Let's see what this says, because if I had to guess, we're at about 2 to 5%. Yeah, so it's good and scalable. I still think it's super low. I still think we should be able to be doing much more than that. But I guess at the end of the day too, we have had a hard time scaling ad spend. We've tried and it has not worked. So again, we would like to get this higher, but for us, obviously we want to be scaling. I think I talked a little bit about Ascension before. I'll have to do a video on that. But we want to scale our coaching obviously. So we're looking at running ads directly to that. And then really the biggest thing here is we're looking at, okay, how can we get a 90% retention rate. Because with 4,400 paying members, you know, even 1%, it is, you know, a lot of money that you're saving if you can increase your retention. So we had a good month last month. We'll see how this month looks. And I'll have to break down our retention strategy, you know, in another video. But this is what our current low ticket looks like. This is how we've been able to sign that many people up. And then really just kind of getting more into lastly, how We are sending people into coaching. What we do, two different funnels. So this goes to a scaling roadmap session audit, whatever the fuck you want to call it. And then these people, because they're worldwide, these people go to the same thing scaling roadmap session. This is with a setter. This is with a And then all this setter is doing, and we have two different paths, I guess roadmaps that we run people through. We have a ten k and we have a hundred k a month one, and this is our funnel. So I mean, it's a very simple funnel. We do a lot of different conversion mechanisms inside of here that I will talk about in other videos in terms of email marketing. But this is our current ninety two thousand dollar low ticket. MRR structure. And if you're like Jake, you're making most of your money from your low ticket. Why don't you focus on that and making more money from them? That is obviously, you know, what we are working on because like the ascension process from this doesn't make sense. But when you have a lot of money coming in from your low ticket, it makes more sense for us to build out a sick-ass fucking portal like I'm showing you right now where we own it. We can do upsells in here. We can have different tiers. You can see I can have a little guy that I walk around and you can see I have my video that I can go in. I can talk to people. It's got voice chat. So building out our own platform, giving people AI tools. We have an AI sales manager in here that we're launching. So that is really the plan. That's, you know, how we're also scaling this. The plan, you know, to scale this, we want to get to a quarter mil a month. And obviously working that back, if we do a quarter mil divided by, I would on average like to have people at 47, need 5,000 people at that. So we got some work to do. But yeah, this is, this is our funnel. So that is the current structure. Again, in these videos, I am going to be going much more into depth, but I wanted to break that down. And other than that, I'll see you next time.
